Claregalway & District Day Care Centre will host an Open House at the Centre in Village THIS Sunday 14th from 4 - 6pm. The plan to build a new Day Centre along with 14 independent living accommodation for the older persons are in place and construction will start early 2018. Couch-to-5K in January. Clare River Harriers Athletic Club weekly Couch-to-5k sessions on Wednesdays meeting outside the Claregalway Community Centre at 7pm. The sessions will be for people with all levels of fitness with a target of taking part in the Claregalway 5K on 10-April. The first few sessions will be will be used to evaluate the fitness level of participants and to group participants with others of similar fitness levels.

IWA Tuam Resource and Outreach Centre. Are you a person with a physical or sensory disability aged 18+? The Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) Resource & Outreach Centre in Tuam, Co. Galway are looking to expand the services provided to younger people with a physical or sensory disability aged 18+. You do NOT have to be a wheelchair user to avail of the services provided at IWA Tuam Resource & Outreach Centre which covers north Galway, east Galway, and south Mayo. We are looking for people who can actively participate and contribute to the services provided in our busy centre which include sports and social activities, outings, holidays, and much more, as well as suggesting new activities and services. The services provided by IWA are driven by our members so we’re always open to facilitating any new ideas and requests you may have.We would particularly like to establish new services and activities which complement people who may be working or in education by offering evening and weekend services both in our modern, fully accessible Resource Centre in Tuam, and throughout the community and local region. In the event that people require transportation we may be able to facilitate people in attending our centre or attending events and activities throughout the region and beyond. ------Our Church Renovation - Update Sincere thanks to all who are supporting the funding for the renovation of our Church. Please God, work will be completed according to plans and we will have a church to be proud of – a place of worship for our community fitting as God’s House and deserved by our parishioners. Work is progressing –  Church roofing completed  Cladding of Bell Tower will be completed very shortly  Construction of new entrance (porch and gallery at roofing stage.  Electricians are on site and working on new electrics.  Insulation of inside of church, fitting of new windows etc will commence shortly as will installation of heating system.

So, with work progressing it is expected that all will be completed on schedule. In thanking those who are contributing generously we invite those who have not made a contribution to generously consider doing so. Our church is for all and should be supported by all. The Renovation Committee.
