Thank you for supporting St David’s Hospice Care and signing up to take-part in our Three Peaks of Wales Challenge, which is being held on Saturday 21 September 2019.

Please see the following details:

 Friday 20th Sep., we will welcome you on Friday between 5.00pm – 6.00pm, at The Padarn Hotel, LLanberis, LL55 4SU (alternatively you can check in over the phone)  Reg. on Saturday 21st Sep., from 02.30am (bottom car park Royal Victoria Hotel.  Start Time Sat. 21 Sep. - 3.00am; one mass start for all teams .  Each Mountain will be marshalled by mountain trained experienced personnel  Teams – please consider putting your teams together in order of abilities  A BBQ will be available at the base of Pen-y-Fan to mark the finish of the event  Please find enclosed sponsorship forms (photocopies are acceptable)  Disclaimer Forms: Please see important notes regarding these forms  There are prizes for most sponsorship handed in on the day, and fastest 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams  We encourage your driver to make you feel comfortable during the event by providing snacks (Please consider the size of the vehicle you will be using, to ensure your comfort)  Please ensure you book any overnight accommodation well in advance  We will send you further information for the Three Peaks Challenge prior to the event

St David's Hospice Care has been providing community-based hospice care for people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, and their families, since 1979. Our care is provided to people living within Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, Torfaen, including South and Mid Powys.

We wish to provide our patients with real choice about where they receive their care and their place of Gift Aid It! Every £1 you generously give us, we can receive an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue. death but, as I'm sure you will appreciate, this does have financial implications for the Charity. It costs St. David's Hospice Care approximately £8.5 million each year to provide our services.

We are indebted to the local community for their on-going support and we are looking forward to meeting you on Friday 20 Sep., or bright and early on Saturday 21st Sep., it promises to be a most enjoyable day!

Weather: We cannot predict the weather conditions and need to be prepared for extremes of cold windy conditions or hot and sunny.

From the centre of Dolgethlau take the Tywyn Road and take a sharp left signposted Cadair Idris just on leaving the town. After approx 3 - 4 km pass the Gwernan Lake Hotel on right. Car Park is 1k further on right. *Teams will be timed from the checkpoint at the start of each trek to when the LAST team member reports back to that checkpoint.
