But once in a while, the music scene is treated with a band that stands for more than pre-teen vanity. Haste the Day is one of those bands. After 10 years, the band is planning a visit to San Antonio to perform their “Farewell Tour.” Hailing from Indiana, Haste the Day first formed in early 2001. Considered pioneers of the metalcore genre, Haste the Day is known for their melodic guitar rhythms, pounding double bass drums, crushing breakdowns and their mix of clean and screamed vocals.
