Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: What returning to Cuba, mostly living in San Diego, a border town, & traveling to over 50 countries in the world, and all 50 states, has taught me is that we all need to respect each others differences: culture, traditions, political systems, languages and ways of doings things. Sadly, I think our generation had and blew a great opportunity to change our country and the world for the better. We are leaving our kids a country and world worse off. Hopefully, our children will learn from our mistakes. The optimism and idealism I had in high school, however, still, somehow, still remains.
