Dubuque Racing Association Board of Directors | 2017 DRA Annual Report For over 30 years the Dubuque Racing Association has contributed in making a positive economic impact in the Dubuque-area. Thanks to the success of Q Casino and Diamond Jo Casino, 2017 was no exception. Last year millions of dollars were distributed and awarded to over 150 local non-profit and economic development organizations. Since 1985, the DRA has awarded 5,366 grants to 1,600 organizations amounting to over $50 million. These grants help support our local schools, fire departments, hospitals, and other community organizations who offer programs and services that are essential to our community. I'd like to thank the staff at the Q Casino and Diamond Jo Casino, the DRA Board of Directors, our patrons, and everyone who has contributed to our success - past, present, and future. ~ Jesus Aviles, President & CEO Q Casino & Dubuque Racing Assocation

This past year has been one of great excitement for Q Casino. Not only did we go through a rename and a rebrand, we opened a new restaurant and did a top-to-bottom renovation of the hotel. These changes, in addition to our outdoor concert series, new games on our casino floor, and continuous focus on customer satisfaction, will help us remain a positive contributor to the Dubuque gaming market.

The Dubuque Racing Association has been a catalyst for positive changes in the tri-state area since the mid-80’s. Together with the Diamond Jo, we are proud to contribute to the efforts and mission of the DRA and look forward to its continued success. ~ Brian Rakestraw, General Manager Q Casino

Diamond Jo Casino is proud to be a major supporter of the Dubuque Racing Association (DRA), contributing millions of dollars each year to the Association. Together the DRA and Diamond Jo work hard every day to make our community a better place to live, play, and do business.

Thanks, in part to Diamond Jo’s support, the DRA continues to be an impactful and positive force in our community, contributing to over 150 non-profit organizations annually in areas like education, fire safety and recreation. The Diamond Jo is proud of our 24-year partnership with the DRA, a partnership which has significantly enhanced the quality of life of those who call the Dubuque area home. ~ Wendy Runde, Vice President and General Manager Diamond Jo Casino
