FTSE4Good Index

The FTSE4Good is an index published by the Financial Times and the London Stock Exchange (FTSE) every six months. This index rates the performance of companies that meet above-average standards in the fields of human rights, social criteria and environmental protection and have been able to prove a continuous improvement of their approach. AG has been a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index since 2006.

Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes

The Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (for short DJSI) are a family of portfolio indexes. Apart from financial aspects, they are also tracking companies in terms of ecological and social criteria. The Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) shows the industry-best 10% of the 2,500 companies in the Dow Jones Global Total Stock Market Index based on their sustainability performance. Fraport AG has been listed in this index since 2007.

Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index

Carbon Disclosure Project

Fraport has been taking part in the Carbon Disclosure Pro- ject (CDP) since 2006. This is the leading climate reporting initiative in the finance industry worldwide, which analyzes companies and their strategies for climate change and CO2 reporting. In 2010, Fraport AG was for the first time included in the Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI), which comprises 30 companies, and in 2011 its membership was confirmed. In 2011, this index included 20 DAX securities and ten securities from the Mid Cap and Small Cap segments. Deutsche Post AG (Germany‘s mail service) and Fraport AG are the only companies from the transportation sector listed in this index.

SAM Sustainability Yearbook

The Yearbook published by SAM and KPMG is regarded as the world‘s most informative and comprehensive publication on sustainability trends and the sustainability performance of selected companies. Of the 2,500 biggest companies (based on the Dow Jones Global Total Stock Market Index) the best 15% of each sector are included in the Yearbook. Amongst those, only the best companies are honored with the SAM Gold, Silver or Bronze Award. Fraport AG was included in the Yearbook for the first time in 2008 and then achieved the Bronze Class award in 2012. Fraport AG has for the first time received the SAM Sector Mover distinction. This distinction is awarded to the company that has achieved the largest propor- tional improvement in its sustainability efforts. Fraport AG is represented in the Industrial Transportation sector.

oekom research AG

In 2011, the rating agency oekom research awarded the “Prime Status” to Fraport AG. The Prime Status is awarded to those companies which according to the oekom Corporate Rating are among the leaders in their industry and which meet industry-specific minimum requirements.

EMAS

European Union/Chamber of Industry and Commerce

Fraport AG‘s Environmental Management System was esta- blished on the basis of the European EMAS Regulation on environmental management in 1999 and the environmental company audit for the Frankfurt site (Directive No. 761/2001 EC) was implemented. In 2011 Fraport has once again success- fully passed its revalidation according to EMAS (Eco Manage- ment and Audit Scheme). In addition, since 2002 Fraport AG has also been certified according to the internationally valid ISO 14001 standard. The Frankfurt-located group companies N*ICE Aircraft Ser- vices & Support GmbH and Fraport Cargo Services GmbH, both of them being relevant to the environment, are certified under EMAS/ISO 14001, and the group companies located in Lima, Peru, and , , (terminal operation) are certified according to the ISO 14001 standard.

German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB – Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen)

The German Sustainable Building Council, DGNB, (of which Fraport AG is a member) has awarded the Preliminary Gold Certificate to Fraport AG‘s new company head office, current- ly under construction. The building that is being constructed at Gate 3 of Frankfurt Airport outstandingly meets the deman- ding quality criteria of the certification standards laid down by the DGNB certification council for sustainable building. DGNB‘s Gold Class certifications are awarded if at least 80 percent of the quality criteria defined in DGNB‘s complex certification system are fulfilled.

”Airport Carbon Accreditation”

ACI Europe Certificate

In September 2009, Fraport AG was the first airport operator to receive accreditation under “Airport Carbon Accreditation” (ACA). ACA is a concept for presentation and management of the climate-gas emissions at European airports. It was developed on behalf of the airport association ACI Europe in 2008. In early 2012 Fraport AG was upgraded to Level 3 (“Optimization”). Antalya Airport was awarded Level 1 in 2010. In 2011, this group airport was able to reach Level 2 with the measures set out in the so-called Carbon Manage- ment Plan.

eCarTec munich expo Veranstaltungs GmbH

Fraport AG was granted the eCarTec-Award for its “e-Fleet 2015+” concept in 2009. The prize was awarded for the first time at the eCarTec international exhibition for elec- tromobility in Munich in 2009 for the Sustainable MobilityCon- cepts category. This award was an accolade for Fraport AG‘s future-proof electromobility concept and the company’s track record of commitment to testing innovative automotive techno- logy at the airport and in regular operation.

ISO 9001/ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001

International Organization for Standardization/ TÜV NORD CERT GmbH

In 2010 Fraport AG‘s certification with 17 Group companies was completed. The control audit carried out in the 2011 certification period (certification period 2010 - 2013) has been successfully conducted.

Fraport AG‘s quality management system was set up in 1994 in accordance with the ISO 9001 international standard and certified for the first time in 1997. Since 2000, the certification network has been continually expanded. Individual Group companies have also received certification in accordance with ISO 14001 (environment) and OHSAS 18001 (occupational health and safety) by TÜV NORD CERT GmbH (German Technical Inspectorate).

ISAGO

International Air Transport Association (IATA)

In 2011 Fraport AG was awarded IATA‘s ISAGO certificate. The ISAGO certificate – IATA Safety Audit for Ground Ope- rations – is the first harmonized set of safety and quality standards for ground operations on a worldwide basis and is an internationally recognized system applicable to ground- handling companies. ISAGO aims to achieve safer ground operations and to reduce ground accidents and injuries.

TOP IT Quality Award

IIR Deutschland, a division of EUROFORUM Deutschland SE

In 2010, Fraport AG‘s quality management received the Topit Quality Award. A process-based Integrated Management System was introduced at Fraport AG in order to support the competitiveness of its integrated service package. The jury found the transferability of the project to other divisions and sectors particularly impressive.

Unfallkasse Hessen

Personal Accident Scheme of the State of Hesse

The Hesse Personal Accident Scheme granted the Advan- cement Award to member companies for the second time in recognition of the exemplary measures taken for occupational health and safety promotion campaigns within the company. In 2009/2010, Fraport received particular recognition for many years of effective preventive work and innovative preventive initiatives. Fraport Security Services GmbH (FraSec) recei- ved the Job Safety Prize in 2010 for the period 2009/2010 for exemplary and sustainable measures in occupational health and safety within the company.

Career and Family Audit

Under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology

The Career and Family Audit is a strategic management tool which supports employers in creating a robust and profitable balance between corporate goals and employee interests. In 2010, Fraport AG was again awarded a certificate for success in activities to get the work-life balance right between career and family. The certificate is awarded by the Hertie Foundati- on and is based on a goal agreement between the career and family organization and Fraport AG. The targets defined in eight categories have to be implemented by May 2012.

Total E-Quality Deutschland e. V.

In 2010, Fraport AG received the Total E-Quality rating for the commitment of its human resources policy to equal opportuni- ties for the fifth time in succession. The rating is awarded for a period of three years.

In 2007, Fraport AG signed the Diversity Charter. This initiati- ve is a commitment to the recognition of, respect for and promotion of diversity of companies.

The annual Graduate Barometer conducted by the consultan- cy trendence has ranked Fraport AG among Germany‘s top employers for a number of years, also in 2011.

Universum Kommunikation und Medien AG

The annual student surveys carried out by Universum indicate that Fraport AG has been among Germany‘s top 100 employ- ers for a number of years. Fraport AG was awarded again in 2011.

Absolventa GmbH

In 2011, Absolventa GmbH awarded Fraport AG‘s trainee program with the Certified Trainee Programs 2011 Seal. This makes Fraport AG one of the companies that have demonstrated that they are offering career-enhancing and fair training programs. Absolventa is an online job exchange platform for young graduating students; the company not only provides job offers but also a career guide.

Success Factor Family

On 29 May 2008, Fraport AG received the accolade of overall winner in the Big Companies category for an exemplary family-oriented company policy fostering family values.

Fair Company

Initiative launched by the jobs and business magazine “Karriere”.

The magazine awards the “Fair Company” Seal of Approval to companies taking a stand against exploiting the internship generation and take appropriate action. Whenever a company is in conflict with (one of) the five defi- ned rules, it loses the Seal.
