TWe are proud to once again be partnering with Easterseals NH and celebrating with more than 1,800 spectacular wines, while raising critical funding for an organization that provides such meaningful and impactful services throughout the state. The Winter Wine Spectacular is one of the most highly-anticipated events of the year, and has become one of the premiere wine events in the entire country. More than 50 international wine personalities, delicious food from some of New Hampshire’s best restaurants and an opportunity to experience some of the best wines in the world make this event a can’t-miss celebration. It’s a tremendous opportunity for consumers to learn about and enjoy wine responsibly. The Winter Wine Spectacular is the culmination of New Hampshire Wine Week, which is New England’s ultimate celebration of wine. The weeklong series of events was created in 2005 to provide customers the opportunity to sample some of the 7,000 wines available at New Hampshire’s 80 Liquor & Wine Outlets, while also giving them the chance to meet nationally and internationally acclaimed winemakers at dozens of events throughout the state. During this past week, the biggest names in the wine world participated in intimate wine dinners, bottle signings, wine tastings, and one-of-a-kind seminars. New Hampshire Wine Week and the Winter Wine Spectacular, together with the best prices and unmatched shopping convenience, have helped New Hampshire stand out in the wine world. In fact, the Washington Post called New Hampshire “the best state in America for wine drinkers,” after it scored an A+ on the American Wine Consumer Coalition’s report card. The secret is out: New Hampshire is serious about wine! While wine is the primary focus, tonight’s event has a deeper meaning. As one of Easterseals NH’s signature fundraisers, the Winter Wine Spectacular raises critical funds to support the organization’s statewide early intervention program, providing much-needed services and therapy for hundreds of children ages three months to three years with a variety of developmental delays and physical disabilities. Thanks to your help, the Winter Wine Spectacular has raised more than $1.8 million for Easterseals NH since it launched in 2002. Please ask questions of the fascinating personalities in attendance. Learn about what drives their passion and take the time to discover new and exciting wines. This is your opportunity to sample a vast variety of wines and find those that are perfect for you to purchase. Be sure to try the delicious culinary samplings from New Hampshire’s best restaurants and take a chance at some silent auction prizes. Most importantly, please have a safe and enjoyable evening. Thank you for drinking responsibly, Joseph W. Mollica Chairman, New Hampshire Liquor Commission 2 | Winter Wine Spectacular 2018 u EASTERSEALS NH Please drink responsibly.
