PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT AND SERVICE • Engineer in Training, (EIT), Passed the FE Nov, 2013 • Student Member of ASCE • Student Member AISC • Student Member ACI • AISC’s Steel Bridge Competition –OU’s Steel Bridge Team Captain 2013 & 2014, Team Member 2012 Lead the bridge team, raised funding, assigned duties to team members and oversaw the design, fabrication & construction of the 2013, & 2014 steel bridge. . 2013 - The team completed assembly of the bridge, and lateral deflection testing for the first time in over 6 years. . 2014 – The team completed all phases of loading, placed 4th overall and 3rd place in stiffness for the mid-continent region.

– Newark, Delaware Fall 2016 to Spring17 Graduate Research Assistant/Teaching Assistant – Working as a GRA responsibilities included preforming literature review, data processing/analysis, and working on research topics. Responsibilities as a TA required grading papers, maintaining office hours and filling in for Faculty as needed. • BC Steel Buildings, Inc.– , Oklahoma Fall 2014 to 2016 Structural Designer – Worked with senior engineers to quote and design multi use, multi-story steel buildings. Design work was completed using software packages and design aids. Additional responsibilities included calculating standard sheets for the company’s software database, and validating the programs design procedures and outputs.

• University of Oklahoma– Norman, Oklahoma Summer 2014 to 2016 Graduate Research Assistant/Teaching Assistant – Working as a GRA responsibilities included preforming a literature review, designing test specimens, designing and implementing practical testing setup, data acquisition, testing procedures, data processing and analysis, and writing thesis. Responsibilities as a TA required grading papers, maintaining office hours and filling in for Faculty as needed.

• Oklahoma Department of Transportation – Purcell, Oklahoma Summer 2013 Civil Engineering Intern – Worked with resident Engineers on bridge, sidewalk and roadway construction projects in the State of Oklahoma. Field assignments enabled me to gain a working knowledge of plan reviews, plan interpretation, the construction process, project scheduling and the teamwork needed to complete these assignments.
