List of Smokefree Gambling Facilities Defending your right to breathe smokefree air since 1976 U.S. Smokefree Casinos and Gambling Facilities October 3, 2017 State-regulated Gambling Facilities There are at least 782 state-regulated gambling facilities that are required to be 100% smokefree indoors. Of the casinos and other facilities listed below, most are required to be smokefree by state law. Additionally, gambling facilities marked with an * are not required by law to be smokefree, but are smokefree by their own corporate policy. Vermont and Wisconsin’s smokefree laws cover state-regulated gambling facilities, but neither state currently has any such facilities. Maine’s smokefree law requires state-regulated gambling facilities opened after July 1, 2003 to be 100% smokefree, but prior facilities may have a smoking room. State-regulated gambling facilities are not permitted in American Samoa, Hawaii, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Utah, although some permit bingo and/or lottery. LBNL‐53201 1 Designing for Smoking Rooms Following the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s classification of Environmental Tobacco Smoke (ETS) as a Group A carcinogen in 1992, California passed legislation in 1994 (Assembly Bill 131) prohibiting most employers from exposing nonsmoking workers to ETS. As a result of this legislation, work place smoking restrictions were added to the California Labor Code.2 This statute prohibits any employer from knowingly or intentionally permitting the smoking of tobacco products in enclosed places of employment. Prohibition of smoking at the workplace does not apply to breakrooms designated by employers for smoking, under specified conditions. There are additional exemptions to specific workplaces that are not related to the subject matter in this article. Smoking Breakrooms Smoking is allowed in specially designed and operated breakrooms that meet the following criteria: a. Air from the room is exhausted directly to the outside by an exhaust fan; b.

Received: 7 May 2011; in revised form: 2 June 2011 / Accepted: 3 June 2011 / Published: 17 June 2011 Abstract: In public places many countries banned smoking as the most important indoor source of fine airborne particulate matter. In Austria partial bans have been in force since 2009, with exemptions for the hospitality industry. From February to October 2010 we investigated PM2.5 concentrations in the breathing area of guests in well frequented Viennese establishments of all sizes, and compared these chance indoor samples with PM2.5 concentrations measured during the same half hour at the next outdoor monitoring station. The laser particle counter (OPC1.108, Grimm®) used for indoor measurements had been calibrated by ß-attenuation (FH 62 I-R, Eberline®), which was used outdoors. 48% of 112 venues visited did not fully comply with the law, notwithstanding its weakness. Highest median concentrations (in µg/m3) were found in bars (443.7), followed by nightclubs/discotheques (421.1), pubs (147.7), cafes (106.1) and restaurants (23.4). Concentrations increased with number of smokers present (p < 0.01), with medians of 282.4/241,3/67.6/6.9 µg/m³ in smoking venues/smoking rooms/adjacent non-smoking rooms/exclusive non-smoking venues.

SUBJECT: CARDROOM COMPLIANCE WITH TITLE 16 OF THE SAN JOSE MUNICIPAL CODE (GAMING CONTROL REGULATORY PROGRAM) ANNUAL REPORT RECOMMENDATION Accept the annual report on cardroom compliance with Title 16 of the San Jose Municipal Code (Gaming Control Regulatory Program). BACKGROUND Since the adoption of Title 16 of the San Jose Municipal Code (Code) on November 23,1999, the Chief of Police has been required to prepare an annual report evaluating the impact of cardroom gambling on crime ("annual crime report") in the San Jose metropolitan area. Title 16 was further amended on April 7, 2009 to provide the Chief of Police an opportunity to also report on regulatory issues pertaining to cardroom gambling in San Jose. From 2009 through 2013, the annual crime report focused on the impact of cardroom gambling on crime and was presented to the Public Safety, Finance and Strategic Support (PSFSS) Committee. On April 10, 2014, in his annual crime report, the Chief of Police directed the Gaming Administrator to return to the PSFSS Committee with a separate report ("Cardroom Compliance with Title 16 of the San Jose Municipal Code Report" or "Compliance Report") summarizing work permitting and licensing issues, compliance issues relating to each cardroom and other regulatory matters surrounding the gaming operations in San Jose. The first compliance report covering the fiscal periods of 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 was presented to the PSFSS Committee on February 5, 2015.

I Luv Suits Poker also offers the optional Flush Rush and Super Flush Rush Bonus wagers. Getting Started You make the ante wager to begin play. You may also make the Flush Rush and Super Flush Rush Bonus wagers. The dealer will give a packet of 7 cards to each participating player and to themselves. After seeing your cards, you will have the option to either fold or make the play wager based on the amount of cards in your flush: • If your hand contains a three or four-card flush, you may only bet 1x your ante. • If your hand contains a five-card flush, you may bet 1x or 2x your ante. • If your hand contains a six-card flush or higher, you may bet 1x, 2x or 3x your ante. Winning and Losing Once all player decisions have been made the dealer will reveal their cards. The dealer’s hand must contain a three-card 9-high flush or better to qualify. • TOP 5 POKER - Rules & Dealing Procedures
TOP 5 POKER - Rules & Dealing Procedures 1. The layout used for "Top 5 Poker" has either 6 or 7 spots and fits on a standard blackjack size table. Each spot has a "Wager Area" that consists of 4 wager locations: 1) "Ace or Face Community Card", 2) "10's or Better", 3) "Ante" and 4) "Bet". Payouts are posted on the layout between the spots. 2. Top 5 Poker is played using only 1 standard deck of 52 cards. 3. Players make an "Ace or Face Community Card" and/or a "10's or Better" and/or an "Ante" wager in their Wager Area to show they are playing the next round. The house determines which initial wager or wagers are required. 4. The dealer deals 5 cards to each player’s spot that has a wager in the 10's or Better and/or Ante wager locations. Each set of 5 cards is dealt face down, to the player's side of the Wager Area, the dealer may deal with one arm motion to facilitate dealing from a shuffling machine. The dealer then deals 5 cards, face down, to himself. Once dealing of the round starts, players that have not placed a wager in their Wager Area are not allowed to play the round. Note: The house will define what constitutes a mis-deal and determine the procedures to handle any such mis-deal.
