August 2018 WEDNESDAY AUGUST 1 8PM THE EXPEDITION CONTINUES 5.1 • 5.2 • 5.3 • knpb.org • 775.784.4555 Powering Our Future Nevada is already a national leader in renewable energy, and NV Energy has enough to power more than a million homes at once. But we won’t stop there. In what is the largest clean energy investment in our state’s history, NV Energy has contracted for more than 1,000 megawatts of new solar energy and, for the fi rst time, 100 megawatts of battery energy storage. That’s enough for another 600,000 typical Nevada homes. nvenergy.com KNPB Guide ad_AUGUST_2018-06.indd 1 6/26/2018 8:44:41 AM Brewery Arts Center Presents THRU AUG 25 August 4 – Frobeck August 11 Urban Renewal Project August 18 DennisJohnson &the MssissippiRamblers August 25 – La Chamba www.breweryrarts.org #IDusicmovest'il (.@ LEVITT@ BlKhJPB'9) ,,· ·· 2 August 2018 CELEBRATING YEARS OF SERVICE Join KNPB, former CEOs and staff, several of our founders, current and past board members as we enjoy an inspiring evening kicking-off the KNPB 35th Anniversary and celebrating the contributions and accomplishments of the Honorable Sue Wagner.
