This publication provides a convenient reference guide to the Mississippi Code for those having responsibility at the county government level. It directs the user to pertinent code sections and presents them in full length or summary form, or directs the user to the relevant section of the Mississippi Code. MISSISSIPPI LEGISLATURE REGULAR SESSION 2003 By: Senator(s) Kirby To: County Affairs SENATE BILL NO. 2727 1 AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 25-3-9, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO 2 AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF RANKIN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, 3 TO EMPLOY THE ELECTED COUNTY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY AND HIS 4 ASSISTANT ON A FULL-TIME BASIS; TO ESTABLISH A MAXIMUM SALARY 5 THEREFOR; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 6 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 7 SECTION 1. Section 25-3-9, Mississippi Code of 1972, is 8 amended as follows: 9 25-3-9.
