Bill No. 263/2018 • Prohibits the use of plastic micro particles in the composition of cosmetic products • Prohibits free importation, distribution and marketing of plastic bags for the packaging and transport of goods, as well as for disposable plastic utensils for food and beverage, except the ones made from fully biodegradable material

Bill No. 1405/2019 • Amends watersafety traffic Law 9537/1997 he penalty can be applied after an administrative proceeding, initiated with an infraction notice and the adversarial and wide-ranging defense ensured. The initial text foresaw punishment only in the case of dumping plastic waste into the sea. Extended the penalty for any type of solid waste. In addition, the report provides for the payment of a fine, in addition to the suspension of the vellel’s commander license.
