Aim: The University of Bedfordshire is holding a half day workshop on nutrition and hydration for health care staff. The workshop will focus on topics related to good nutrition, the assessment of patients as well as the importance of good record keeping.

Topics covered will include:   Anatomy and physiology related to nutrition and hydration  Maintaining good nutrition and hydration in vulnerable groups  Patient assessment  Contraindications and complications associated with poor nutrition & hydration  Accountability and record keeping
