Wardley and Leam Lane Ward Factsheet

Wardley and Leam Lane ward is located in the East of along with three other wards – Felling, and Heworth, and and Whitehills.

The ward adjoins South to the east and to the south. At the centre of the ward is Fewster Square offering services including shops, a swimming pool, and access to public transport. Wardley and Leam Lane also contains Oliver Henderson Park, Heworth Golf Course and Follingsby Park Industrial Estate.

The ward incorporates part of the large as well as Wardley. Housing stock is a mixture of traditional older brick built and more modern properties, with some maisonettes on Leam Lane estate. The majority of housing is privately owned.
