PAGE 4 | ALLIANCE FOR CHILDREN'S RIGHTS When my grandchildren came to live with me, I had to wait ten months before I was able to receive any help. During that time, I went deep into debt and struggled to keep my house. The Alliance fought for a change in law so that, now, no one will have to go through that. Caregivers who step up to take in a child unexpectedly will receive help right away.” -Lori Nolan
