In 2015 Logan Water developed undertook a program to specify, develop and install a number of bespoke water fill stations. The contracts for delivery of these were for materials, installation and provision of all equipment for the fill stations. The installations commenced in 2015 were the stations handed over to Logan Water in 2016. To date these installations supply in the region of $500k worth of water per year with the on site equipment source from Abberfield and payment services through Card Access Services (refer to separate form). Following handover these sites are managed by Logan Water with reactive mainteance and associated works undertaken by Logan Water Operations. There is no specific annual fees or charges for the stations with Logan Water Operations utilising Abberfield for the provision of required parts for repairs and mainteance in the event of on site issues. To date equipment for reactive repairs were required in July 2020 and prior to that in May 2017 so the utilisation of Abberfi As the owner and operator APA Group undertake pipeline relocation design and undertakes the relocation of their existing infrastructure. Aqseptence provides servicing, repairs and spare parts to the band screens. They are the manufacturer and supplier of these band screens. Aquatec-Maxcon has supplied and installed the UV disinfection (Trojan) system in place at Beenleigh Wastewater Treatment Plant. The equipment is used for disinfecting final effluent and is required to be serviced regularly. The service needs to be done by qualified technicians. Aquatec-Maxcon are the exclusive distributor of this Trojan system. Spare parts are unable to be sourced by any other contractor. BiblioCommons is the supplier of BiblioCore software that seamlessly integrates with Council's Library Management System, Horizon, to create an enriched online experience for library patrons by increasing the discoverability of the library's essential online services of website, online catalogue and events calendar. Bibliotheca is an international technology company that specialises in library management solutions. In February 2018, Bibliotheca equipment was installed in Council's nine libraries and included 23 Self Service Kiosks, RFID activated returns chutes, staff work stations, security gates, and inventory wands. Annual maintenance and service fees are payable for the period of the 6 year contract. The purchase and installation of specific keys, locks and cylinders Logan Water have in operation 5 Water Fill stations supplying customers with water through a pay on supply arrangement. These facilities were delivered through a competitive tender process with Abberfield appointed to provide the actual facilitiies and Card Access Services to support the payment and transactional activities. The agreement with CAS (DM#9719707) was approved in July 2015 for a period of one year with the agreement remaining in place until CAS were notified of Logan Water of a with to withdraw. Due to the specific nature of the services provided by CAS for the payment and transactional services it would be impractical to facilitate alternative arrangements for this service.
