FRI, July 10th: Depart the U.S. Today we will depart The U.S. by taking an overnight flight out of Logan International Airport to Shannon, Ireland.

SAT, July 11th: Welcome to Ireland! This morning we arrive into Shannon Airport and travel to , Steve’s hometown! Today will be left free for people to spend it as they please. Having checked into our hotel you will be free in the afternoon to explore Tralee or relax in the hotel, then that evening we offer a welcome reception and dinner.

SUN, July 12th: Day Trip to the Peninsula After a leisurely breakfast this morning, we will set out to explore more of Kerry, famed to contain some of Ireland’s most iconic scenery. We travel southwest to reach Dingle, which is the only town in one of Ireland's most beautiful coastal regions, the . Today we will enjoy a scenic day of beautiful beaches and mountains of the Dingle Peninsula dubbed one of “the most beautiful place on earth”. The Dingle Peninsula is one of Ireland’s most rugged Peninsulas with breathtaking views and mysterious huts called ‘clochans’ that line the road, thought to be built by 7th century monks. It is an area that suffered the Vikings, welcomed Hollywood and has its own famous Dolphin called “Fungie”. We will stop in the small fishing town of Dingle to enjoy its eclectic little fashion and jewelry shops and intimate cozy pubs – an all-round very special place with great atmosphere and you may even hear Irish

Gaelic being used fluently. Upon returning to Tralee there will be some free time before dinner. Then tonight we have our first Performance by Devri & friends in Steve’s hometown of Tralee.

MON, July 13th: Across the Shannon to & This morning we will bid fair to in search of new adventures in . We will take the ferry across the River Shannon and along the beautiful coastline we stop at the mighty Cliffs of Moher that stand over 700 feet high and offer views out to the and even as far south as the Dingle Peninsula. The Cliffs are home to the Puffin Bird and many other bird species, which you will see a lot about in the interpretation center. Finally reaching Galway, we check in to our hotel where we will enjoy dinner together.

TUES, July 14th: Free day in Galway City or a Connemara & Kylemore Abbey Day Tour This morning after breakfast you have the following 2 options. The first option is to be transferred into Galway City to spend the day here as you please. The second option is to embark on a tour of Connemara, an ever-changing landscape, majestic mountains, spectacular beaches, the wild Atlantic, mist covered lakes, pre-historic bogs and shady glens. We visit the quaint but lively villages where you have all the convenience of modern everyday alongside an opportunity to step back in time with a relaxed and friendly era. This region in Ireland is also where the native Irish Gaelic is still spoken as a first language. We will also visit the picturesque Kylemore Abbey, the home of the Benedictine nuns and stands at the edge of a lake surrounded by woodlands. The Abbey was originally built in 1868 by Mitchell Henry, in memory of his late wife Margaret. Its architecture is best described as neo-gothic and the house still displays all the characteristics of that period. Kylemore Abbey’s most famous

Ireland, UK & Europe Group Experts feature is its miniature cathedral, known locally as the Gothic church. You can also check out the Victorian Walled Garden. We return to our hotel and prepare to meet for dinner together this evening followed by another great performance by the lads of Devri.

Overnight: The Connemara Coast Hotel (B)

WED, July 15th: Town & The Peninsula We depart Galway after breakfast at the hotel and head towards . On the way we will stop at in Sligo for lunch. While here we will vistit W.B. Yeats grave. Sligo was coined by the Irish as “Yeats Country”, after this eminent Irish Poet. W.B. Yeats spent a large portion of his childhood in this area. He died in France in 1939 and according to his wishes he was buried after a discreet and private funeral service at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin – “if I die bury me up there and then in a year’s time when the newspapers have forgotten me, dig me up and plant me in Sligo”. Which did not work out, as the Second World War broke out and Yeats’ mortal remains were stuck in France. Only in September 1948 were Yeats’ remains moved to Drumcliff and his epitaph was taken from the last lines of his late poem: Under Ben Bulben: “Cast a cold Eye On Life, on Death Horseman, pass by!” Afterwards we will stop for a quick pint at Biddy O’barnes Famous Pub. Continuing on through Donegal town, we will go up into the Inishowen Peninsula where we check in for dinner and rest overnight.

THURS, July 16th: Inishowen Peninsula This morning after a leisurely breakfast we will set out to explore the Inishowen Pensinsula. It is the largest peninsula on the island of Ireland and includes Ireland's most northerly point, Malin Head which is also the starting point of the Wild Atlantic Way. No visit to Inishowen is complete without a trip up the narrow, winding road to reach this windswept spot. Stand at the viewing point and you'll be treated to jaw-dropping views and dramatic, unspoiled landscapes everywhere you turn. We will also make a stop in Malin town before returning to our hotel. Malin is the hometown of Declan Houton, where he was often seen nurturing his musical talents in the local pubs. Tonight, we will enjoy dinner and a show back at our Ballyliffen Hotel.

Overnight: Ballyliffen Hotel & Strand Hotel - Split Hotels (B & D)

FRI, July 17th: Giants Causeway & the Antrim Coast Today we Leave Ballyliffen and drive to the Giants Causeway along the Antrim coast. The Giant’s Causeway is an amazing geologic formation of approx. 40,000 basalt stone – some as tall as 130 feet, and mostly hexagonal in shape. As Northern Ireland’s Premiere landmark, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you’ll be free to decide for yourself whether the Causeway is a result of accelerated cooling of lava outflows 60 million years ago or is it the work of the legendary Irish giant, Finn MacCool, in his attempts to a) woo a distant lady giant, or b) meet a Scottish giant in battle to determine who was the stronger giant? From here we will continue toward Belfast making. This evening you will be able to explore Belfast, pick a cuisine of your preference, and enjoy a dinner on your own.

SAT, July 18th: Belfast & The Titanic Experience This morning a guided tour of Belfast will enable you to immerse yourself in the Northern Ireland experience~ see the political murals of West Belfast, the vibrant city center, the newly developed Titanic Quarter, magnificent government building of Stormont and the student area of Queens University. We take a visit to the Titanic Belfast; a state-of-the-art interactive museum provides an unforgettable visitor experience. It tells the story of RMS Titanic, from her conception and launch into the River Lagan in 1911, to the tragic end of her maiden voyage a year later. It was here at Titanic Quarter (the former Queen’s Island) in Belfast Harbor, the ship was built. For dinner this evening, you will be able to explore Belfast further and choose your own cuisine.

SUN, July 19th: Leave for Dublin airport This morning we pack our bags and after enjoying one final breakfast together, head for Dublin airport to board our flight back to the US!
