Service Requirements for Installation Vendor shall complete pre‐install active Wi‐Fi site surveys, setup Xirrus XR Series Wi‐Fi Array on tripod, broadcast SSID, upload campus map to site survey software and obtain live RSSI readings to show signal heat map and identify final Wi‐Fi Array placements on a per school basis.

Internal Connections – LAN Hardware Installation and Configuration Vendor shall complete Wi‐Fi Array installation and configuration services. Vendor shall complete post‐install active Wi‐Fi site surveys, upload campus map into Site Survey software and obtain live RSSI readings to show signal heat map on a per school basis. Xirrus Cloud Management software shall be fully populated with all AP’s and configurations by vendor. Vendor possesses all certifications and licenses from manufacturer to sell and provide service for all existing and new equipment and software included in this RFP.

Training One eight (8) hour day of hands‐on training covering basics of Wi‐Fi, Xirrus Wi‐Fi Platform, and Xirrus Software Applications. Support One (1) Year Standard Support for XR‐series Wi‐Fi Arrays and Cloud Management Platform Note: Caney Valley Schools has standardized on a 2‐radio, software switchable array access point platform such as offered by Xirrus or equivalent. Vendor submittals must conform to this standard.

Cat 6 Network cable

All specifications are for both schools.

Each class room will have 4 drops 2 in the ceiling and 2 in the wall or surface mounted and office and other areas will be as needed. All cable ends must be labeled.

Cat6 cable must be different color for the AP ceiling drops than the wall outlets and all cable ends will be terminated with RJ45 Modular Data Plug Ends

All wall outlets must be in raceway and surface mount where needed and terminated with a 2 gang wall plate and ends. For other information please see school layout.

Where outlets are shown on the school layout isn’t the actual place where the wall mounts will be placed.

All AP Cat6 will be placed in the center of classroom will be terminated with RJ45 Modular Data Plug Ends.

If additional drops are needed than that will be negotiated at that time.

All old network cables will be removed from ceiling and walls.
