JSW Cement increases capacity of its Bellary Plant
• Increases cement plant capacity in Vijay Nagar grinding facility to further strengthen its position in the cement industry especially in Karnataka and Kerala. • The plant has multiple systems to control air and dust pollution • Would be using Roller Press Technology in finish mode for grinding slag and cement • High energy efficient.
Bellary, 13th January, 2017: JSW Cement Ltd, part of the $11 billion JSW Group with interests in Steel, Energy and Infrastructure are all geared up to increase their capacity form current 1.0 MTPA to 3.4 MTPA. The additional capacity will help JSW Cement to strengthen its distribution network in high-demand potential areas throughout south India.
The New Facility was inaugurated by Mrs. Savitri Jindal - wife of Late Shri OP Jindal along with Shri Kailash Kanoria – Noted Industrialist, Shri Sajjan Jindal – Chairman and MD JSW Group, Smt Sangita Jindal and Shri Parth Jindal – MD JSW Cement Ltd.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Anil Kumar Pillai, Director & CEO JSW Cement, said “JSW Cement today is one of the fastest growing cement companies in India. We have a distribution network of 1800 dealers and approximately 5000 sub dealers across the Southern Market, Maharashta Goa and Orissa. This New additional facility will help us to further increase our network, in the Southern Markets and help us serve our customers better. The additional facility is highly energy efficient and would churn out superior quality PSC cement and GGBS from this plant.
