It is the deadline for week one responses

Healthwatch Central West London has received a response, within twenty working days, to the questions sent to West London CCG, on behalf of local people after by the fire, on the 28th July 2017 . The answers we received did not provide the clarity or level of detail that local people have said that they need at this time. To ensure that all those affected by the fire get the information they need, we have told CCG that they need to redraft the responses to be clearer, provide more detail and be more practical and that they should do this by Monday 4th September. The revised response will be published when we received. Royal Borough of & Chelsea have acknowledged receipt of the questions but have not provided a response, as of 6pm 25th August 2017, within the requisite twenty days. Healthwatch will be reporting this failure to comply to Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea Scrutiny Committee, whose job it is to hold the Council to account, and asking them to take action. We have found that many concerns and questions continue to be raised each week. Concerns around respiratory complaints, what GP support is available for this, and what the potential long term impact for health could be are still worrying people. Whilst we have received answers for these concerns, they do not provide the detail or action that people have asked for. We have therefore advised the CCG and Council to set out how they intend to explain the impact of air quality to local people, when this will be done by, and the practical measures they intend to put in place to support people experiencing respiratory complaints.
