Gedling Borough Council Housing sites comprising latest housing trajectory updated 2013

The housing trajectory for the Aligned Core Strategy has been updated based on the SHLAA 2013 review (i.e. based on information as at 31 March 2013) and is attached as Appendix B of the Update of Gedling Five Year Housing Land Supply Assessment as at 31 March 2013 (BD/HOU/48).

This document contains the list of suitable sites (based on SHLAA 2013 review) that make up Gedling Borough’s updated housing trajectory.

The sites are sorted by the following categories: - Urban area - Strategic sites - Bestwood Village - Calverton - Ravenshead - Other villages

As explained in paragraph 36 of the BD/HOU/48 document, all suitable sites (i.e. deliverable and developable) in the villages are included in the housing trajectory and the dwelling figures have been pro-rated downwards to show how the housing target of 7,250 dwellings for the plan period would be met. The dwelling figures included in this document have not been pro-rated and give theoretical maximum number of dwellings that are available. There is no intention to reduce the dwelling figures for the urban area and strategic sites.

The sites are sorted by the number of dwellings with the largest at the top. For the ‘other villages’ they are sorted by each village and then the number of dwellings.

The list of suitable sites in this document supersedes Appendix B of the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment Background Paper (CD/BACK/16) which is based on the SHLAA 2012 review.
