Fans are treated to 30 plus songs including debut performances of “Sorry”, “Hold Up”, “Daddy Lessons” and “Freedom” from her recent release Lemonade as well as power hits “Run The World (Girls)”, “Drunk In Love”, “Single Ladies” and more. Massive video screens rotate and resonate, pyro explodes, and everyone experiences the stunning imagery. Due to demand, Live Nation and Parkwood Entertainment have confirmed an additional seven North American Concert dates will follow the European tour leg in September and October. A third New York area performance has been announced for September 7th in Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium followed by a second LA show at Dodger Stadium on September 14th. Second shows have been added in Santa Clara, Houston, Atlanta and Philadelphia and a new show confirmed in New Orleans on September 24th. Tickets for all performance go on sale Friday, May 13. Recently more and more female pop stars started to declare to be feminists. Singer Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is one of them. During her VMA performance in 2014 she made a significant feminist statement while performing her song ***Flawless, standing in front of a giant luminous FEMINIST sign. A lot of critique on this statement followed. Although Beyoncé is claiming to be a feminist, she has been putting a lot of emphasis on her body, looks and sexuality, in both her music and her videos. Therefore, the current study examines how Beyoncés feminist claim can be interpreted through theories about (modern) feminism and sexualization in pop culture, and thereby how these subjects intertwine and contradict. It analyses how core values in pop culture like authenticity, image, sexuality, tone of voice, context, commerciality, and personal autonomy are used in creating a personal message like Beyoncé does. The research focuses on Beyoncé as an artist, her career, and her newest self-titled album including the song ***Flawless.

    GEORGIA DOME FACTS, FIGURES AND RECORDS ‐ The Georgia Dome is the only venue to host the Olympics, Super Bowl and NCAA men’s basketball Final Four. ‐ The Georgia Dome had two general managers in its quarter century run: Khalil Johnson served as general manager from 1989 (during the construction phase) to 2002 when he was named Chief Operating Officer of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority; and Carl Adkins was promoted from assistant manager to general manager in 2002, staying in this role until 2016. ‐ More than 1,400 events took place at the Georgia Dome, drawing 37 million guests and generating more than $7 billion in economic impact. ‐ The grand opening of the Georgia Dome included the stadium’s first official public event entitled “Roam the Dome” held Aug. 14-16, 1992 featuring marching bands, parades and non-athletic competitions, drawing more than 230,000 visitors. ‐ The weekend after “Roam the Dome,” the Atlanta Falcons began the team’s 25-year residency at the Georgia Dome with an exhibition game victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Aug. 23, 1992 in front of 66,464 fans. ‐ The Georgia Dome’s first concert was the Olympic Flag jam on Sept. 17, 1992, featuring performances by multiple acts, including Whitney Houston, James Brown, Travis Tritt, Santana, TLC, Trisha Yearwood, Lee Greenwood, Alabama, Atlanta Rhythm Section and Gladys Knight. ‐ The first headlining concert at the dome was U2’s Zoo TV Tour, which stopped over on Sept. 25, 1992, drawing a crowd of 52,318. CARDWELL* The 1990s was a decade in which new sports facilities of every type and description were built throughout the United States and Canada. Not since the 1960s when baseball began its major expansion has there been such a boom in new facilities. The decade began with the construc- tion of New Comiskey Park in Chicago in 1991. The following construc- tion boom has continued unabated into the present. What explains this explosion in new design, concepts and construc- tion? It is more than the mere aging of structures (i.e., Wrigley Field is still going strong even though it dates back to 1916). Changes in the economics of the game explain much of the need for new facilities that generate more revenue that can then be retained by the team to pay ever-increasing player salaries. The specifics of the economics of modern professional sports are be- yond the scope of this article. Suffice it to say that the fundamental changes in all major professional sports in the United States resulting from player free agency, increased broadcast revenue, merchandise and other non-game revenue, and the conversion from family to corporate ownership of teams has made the financial bottom line just as important as the team's place in the standings.

As you requested, we Denver Las Vegas have evaluated the impact of the proposed venue on San Diego’s ability to attract Mexico City convention center business. Miami Nassau The Chargers propose a $1.8 billion investment over half of which, $1.15 billion, New York would come from public sources. Our review of the Chargers’ proposal assessed Newport whether that proposed level of public investment in a Stadium-Convention Center San Francisco would advance San Diego’s position in the convention industry.     MADONNA WORLD TOUR 2012 th Tickets Go On Sale in Israel and the UK Feb 10 th North American Tickets Go On Sale Beginning Feb. 13 LOS ANGELES, CA (February 7, 2012) - Madonna is having a huge party and everyone’s invited. The Madonna 2012 World Tour begins May 29 th 2012 in Tel Aviv, Israel it was officially announced by Live Nation Entertainment, the tour’s international promoter. The shows will include arenas, stadiums and special outdoor sights including the Plains of Abraham in Quebec and a return visit to South America as well as Australia where she has not performed in 20 years. The tour will stop in 26 European cities including London, Paris, Milan and Berlin. The first of 26 North American shows is scheduled for August 28 th in Philadelphia and includes a September 6 th show in NY’s Yankee Stadium and an October l0th performance at LA’s Staples Center. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale beginning February 10 th in Tel Aviv and the United Kingdom, with North American tickets going on sale beginning February 13 th . Madonna’s previous tour, the phenomenally successful “Sticky & Sweet” Tour reaffirmed her status as one of the most successful touring artists of all time.
