Volume 19, Number 2 www.fairfaxdemocrats.org February 2010 Report from Congressman Gerry Connolly Congratulations to Dave Marsden on his election to the Virginia State Senate. Dave Marsden and his campaign team ran an excellent campaign and proved to voters in the 37th Senate District that quality candidates and quality campaigns do matter. This is a huge victory for Northern Vir- ginia Democrats and it sends a strong signal that voters in our region will continue to support pragmatic, results-oriented lead- ers with a record of reaching across party lines to get things done for Northern Vir- ginia.
