Lok Sabha ---Bulletin Part – Ii LOK SABHA ----------------- BULLETIN PART – II (General Information relating to Parliamentary and other matters) No. 1783 - 1787] [Thursday, October 22, 2020/Asvina 30, 1942 (Saka) No. 1783 Privileges & Ethics Branch PREVENTIVE CUSTODY & RELEASE OF SHRI ANUMULA REVANTH REDDY The following communication dated 18 October, 2020 from the Deputy Super- intendent of Police, Nagarkurnool Sub-Division, was received on 20 October, 2020:- “This is to inform that Shri Anumula Revanth Reddy, Member of Lok Sabha, along with others, was trying to visit Kalwakurthy Lift Irrigation Pump House situated at Velluru Pump House near Kollapur Mandal of Nagarkurnool District at 1100 hrs on 17.10.2020. They were apprised of proclamation of Section 144, Cr.PC issued by the Thasildar, Kollapur Mandal vide No. D/1550/2020 dated 17.10.2020. But they continued to proceed and were arrested and taken into preventive custody at 1200 hrs on 17.10.2020 at Telkapally Village outskirts. In this regard a case bearing No. CR. No. 188/2020 u/s 151 of Cr.PC was registered at Telkapally PS. Technology The Motion for reference of the Bill to the Joint Committee of the Houses was adopted by Lok Sabha on 11 December, 2019 and concurred by Rajya Sabha on 12 December, 2019 with instructions to report by the first day of the last week of the Budget Session, 2020. The Joint Committee has been granted extension of time for presentation of Report upto the second week of the Winter Session of the Parliament, 2020. 4. However, the printed form is also available in the Parliamentary Notice Office to submit the notice to call the attention of Minister. The following process to submit the notice as well as procedure to call the attention of Minister under Rule 197 will be followed: - (i) Notices may be submitted either through printed form or online; (ii) No member shall give more than two notices for any one sitting; (iii) A notice signed by more than one member to call the attention of Minister shall be deemed to have been given by the first signatory only; (iv) Notices for a sitting received upto 1000 hours shall be deemed to have been received at 1000 hours on that day and a ballot shall be held to determine the relative priority of each such notice on the same subject. Members, I have to inform the House about the sad demise of our former colleague Shri Jeetendra Singh Bundela. Shri Jeetendra Singh Bundela was a Member of the 15th Lok Sabha representing the Khajuraho Parliamentary Constituency of Madhya Pradesh. Earlier, Shri Bundela was a Member of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from 2003 to 2008. He was also a member of the Committee on Human Resource Development. He had keen interest in social work. Shri Jeetendra Singh Bundela passed away on 3 February, 2019 in New Delhi at the age of 60. We deeply mourn the loss of our former colleague.
