Overview of the Budapest Public Transport System

HDF Logistics Centre

You can get to the spot of the RLS-143 event by public transportation from Boráros square (Budapest IX., Boráros tér): please choose bus number 23 (not 23E) in the direction of ‘Pesterzsébet, Ady Endre tér’ and get off at the 7th bus stop (called ’Timót utca’).

From Budapest Airport, the most cost-effective route by public transport from 4:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. is to take bus number 200E that commutes between Terminal 2 and the Kőbánya- metro terminal (metro line M3). From Kőbánya-Kispest metro terminal, passengers can take metro line M3 in the direction of ‘Újpest Központ’. You have to get off at ‘Corvin-negyed’ stop (it is the 7th one), afterwards change to tram lines 4 or 6 towards ‘Újbuda Központ’ and get off at ‘Boráros tér’ stop (it is the 2nd one).

A ride to the city centre should typically cost around 6500 HUF (22 EUR) depending on traffic conditions. If you are using airport shuttle services, the Company miniBUD is the official airport shuttle service provider for Budapest Airport. It provides comfortable, fast and favourable transfer solutions for passengers wishing to travel from the airport to the districts of Budapest, and from the city to the airport.
