105.7 The Hawk Presents “Wingstock 2012” Bayville, NJ – 105.7 The Hawk Classic Rock for the Jersey Shore presents Wingstock 2012 featuring Joan Jett and The Blackhearts and George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic on Saturday, September 29th on the field at FirstEnergy Park, home of the Lakewood BlueClaws. Gates open at 4pm.

Wingstock headliner Joan Jett and The Blackhearts is an American rock band best known for their hit, “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” which was No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as their other popular recordings including “Bad Reputation” and “I Hate Myself For Loving You.” Parliament Funkadelic is a funk, soul and rock music band headed by George Clinton, their hits include “Flashlight” and “Give Up The Funk.”

Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, July 20th at 10am. Tickets start at just $29 for general admission, $39 for field access and $105 for VIP Tickets. VIP Tickets include food, a private cash bar, access to party decks, a close up VIP section in front of the stage and a limited edition Wingstock 2012 T-shirt.
