ADVERTISMENT Invitation of application for the post of Vice Chancellor, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh; Vice Chancellor, Kolhan University, Chaibasa; Vice Chancellor, Sido Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka & Vice Chancellor, Nilamber-Pitamber University, Medininagar, Palamu. Pursuant to the ensuing vacancy of the post of Vice Chancellor, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh; Vice Chancellor, Kolhan University, Chaibasa; Vice Chancellor, Sido Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka & Vice Chancellor, Nilamber- Pitamber University, Medininagar, Palamu with effect indicated in the chart below:- Sl. Nilamber-Pitamber University, Palamu 07.05.2017 The Search-cum-Selection Committee constituted by Hon’ble the Governor of Jharkhand-cum-Chancellor of Universities, Jharkhand invites application from interested candidates having scholarly pursuit, academic interest and administrative ability with resume and references of two academicians for recommending a panel of names to the Hon’ble Governor-cum-Chancellor of Universities of Jharkhand for appointment to the above posts. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - 1. For the post of V.C., the applicant must possess a minimum of ten years of experience as Professor in a University system or ten years of experience in an equivalent position in a reputed research and/or academic administrative organization as per UGC Regulations 2010 & 2013. Page 1 of 3 2. The pay scale and service conditions under UGC Regulation for the VCs in the State of Jharkhand has been adopted by HRD Dept’s Resolution No.5/fo1- 06/2009/1188 dated 20.11.2010. 3. Information regarding the Universities are available on their respective website. 4. The candidates for the post of V.C. must not be above 62 years of age as on the date of publication of advertisement. 5. The application shall only be submitted in a duly filled prescribed format, which can be downloaded from www.rajbhavanjharkhand.nic.in . Incomplete application form shall be rejected. 6. Recent self attested passport size photograph and signature of applicant shall be scanned at proper place. 7. The applicants need not submit any certificates in proof of his/her educational qualifications. 8. All educational qualifications must have been obtained from recognized Universities/Institution in India and/or abroad and if grades are awarded instead of marks, applicant should clearly indicate their numerical equivalent. 9. Applicant applying for more than one post can submit a single application by putting a tick mark ( √) in desired column of the application form. 10. Suppression of any material information or misrepresentation in the application form shall automatically disqualify the candidate and further may attract prosecution. 11. Application received after due date and time shall not be considered. 12. Canvassing in any form will invite disqualification. 13. The applicants should have a valid e-mail id to be kept active during the entire period of consideration. The Search-cum-Selection Committee shall not be liable for failure of communication, if incorrect or inactive e-mail id is furnished. Page 2 of 3 14. The last date for submitting prescribed application form is 07 th March, 2017 at 06.00 P.M. (i.e within twenty-one days from date of publication of advertisement on 14 th February, 2017). 15. The application in prescribed format/nomination shall be submitted to Officer on Special Duty (Judicial) to Hon’ble Governor through the following e-mail address – [email protected] 16. The application submitted other than through e-mail shall not be taken into consideration by the Search-cum-Selection Committee. 17. The candidates in addition to the application submitted through e-mail (compulsory) must also submit three sets of hard copies of application on the above address ensuring to reach well within the prescribed period either by hand/post/courier service. 18. All communication in this regard shall only be entertained at the aforesaid e-mail.
