Please Segregate Your Bags in Such a Way That You're Carrying a Small Please Note: This email is applicable to you only if you are 5’6 and above and 18 (as of 9th March, 2016) -25 years of age (as of 31st December, 2016) Dear Applicant, The MISS INDIA 2016 Final Round of Auditions are scheduled on11th march, 2016. The winner of Miss India 2016 will represent India at Miss world 2016 Every contestant is required to come prepared for the training period of 30 days on audition day as we commence the training immediately after the shortlisting of the finalists. The selected finalists for Miss India 2016 will not be able to leave until the finale on 9th April, 2016 You are requested to make immediate note of the following points and read the entire mail carefully!! Please segregate your bags in such a way that you’re carrying a small stroller to carry the articles required at the audition and your luggage for the 30 days of training in separate bags as they would be kept safely in a luggage room and you won’t be able to access it through the day. You would be provided with luggage tags for your luggage post the registration. Please keep your tags safely to claim your luggage later. For the safety of your luggage, please put a lock on them. FINAL ROUND OF AUDITIONS AND REGISTRATIONS DATE: 9th March, 2016 VENUE: Jade Ballroom, Sahara Star Opp. Domestic Airport, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400099 TIME: 8:00 AM IMPORTANT POINTS: Please note that it is compulsory for you to register at the Miss India registration desks on 9th of March at 8 AM sharp. The Registration process involves the following: You are requested to carry with you requisite documents and pictures as follows: 1. Photocopy of Passport (Mandatory) Please bring along your original passport also. 2. Photocopy of Birth Certificate ( if you don't have one please carry pan card copy or driving license copy etc) 3. Unmarried status affidavit on a Rs.100/ stamp paper 4. Fitness certificate from your doctor which states you are physically & mentally fit.(Please specify if you have any allergies or prescribed medication that you are currently on) 5. Three Photographs- Close up, mid-length and full-length (A4 SIZE High resolution) 6. Please carry 4 childhood pictures one of age 3 , age 10, age 13/ 14 and a current picture. 7. If you are a student, please carry a student id card. Please note that even if you have submitted all of the above documents by courier it is compulsory to bring a copy of the same to the audition venue. Document point 1,2,3,4 are mandatory documents If you are missing any one of above mentioned documents you will NOT be allowed to participate. Parents, friends and chaperones will not be allowed inside the venue. You must inform them that the event would take until late evening to finish. Miss India Organization will not provide for travel and stay expenses incurred by you at this Stage. Once you have successfully registered with us, you would be briefed on the show flow for the day. Food will not be provided so you are advised to carry some dry snacks to the venue such as dry fruits/electral/ chips/finger food PLEASE NOTE: Avoid colored contact lenses. Judges should be able to see natural eye color. Natural contact lenses are allowed You are expected to maintain basic hygiene and come groomed and well kept for the event. This means you ought to turn up waxed (remove all unnecessary body hair underarms, bikini etc), manicure, pedicure. Neatness will be noted. Please come prepared with the list of things mentioned below. Please do not fix any other engagements for the same day as the audition round would take until late evening to finish. You are advised not to incur any unnecessary cost at this stage to acquire any dresses, make up, accessories at this stage. Please borrow from friends as far as possible or get the nearest option you have to possess the requirement Please be well presented and well behaved at all times (even if you are just lounging around in the hotel). Your appearance, code of conduct shall be noted every day. Miss India team is not liable to speak to contestants parents & guardians at any stage. We trust that you are over 18 years of age & believe that you can handle things by yourself. Please carry a separate stroller to keep miscellaneous articles that would be required during the day Please ensure you bring the following articles with you to wear at the Audition for the rounds: 1. Black Bikini: Please carry some options of black swim wear - two-piece, well fitted and in good condition. A bikini is a swimsuit, do not wear under wear alternatively or sports wear 2. Sarong : Carry appropriate sarong to go with the same. 3. Bathrobe: A bathrobe to cover up in between sessions and in the green room. Please make sure you don’t walk around the hotel without a bathrobe 4. Hot pants (shorts): Denims Blue/black/white or any other solid colour 5. White singlet / Ganjee (plain white and not printed) 6. Cocktail Dress: 1-2 options of short, fitted, black cocktail dresses. Please DO NOT wear long evening gowns for Round 2. 7. Inners: Appropriate inners for all above articles such as skin tone panty hose, g - strings, strapless bras, silicone's and cups for swimwear, panty liners etc. 8. Footwear: Appropriate footwear for above: pair of stiletto heels in black, silver, gold and skin. Please ensure that these are not platforms or wedges and are minimum of 5 inch heels and above 9. Jewellery : Appropriate jewellery, accessories to go with your wardrobe jewellery and attire ( No jewellery with Bikini ). 10. Makeup: Cannot be loud, has to be minimalist and natural (no red lipstick, emphasis on the eyes and lips) The hair has to be voluminous and makeup needs to be fresh and clean. Hair and make up will be provided at the audition. The Audition round will have two rounds: The first round would be shorts and singlet. Second round will be the swimsuit round where the contestants will wear bikinis for judges to assess the overall physical criteria- height, proportionality etc. This will be the first elimination round. The third round will be Cocktail dress round. Here the judges could ask you a couple of questions to get to know you better- about yourself, why Miss India, questions on your interests, career, future, family etc. Please make sure you bring swimwear and not lingerie You would be briefed in detail at the venue. Colours: Black, blue, white, pink, pastels or any other colour that best suits you. 4-7 skirts: Formal, semi- formal, casual. Colour: Black, Blue, white, pink, red, pastels or any other colour that best suits you. Inners including, silicones, g-strings, spanx, strapless bras Make up and hair product of your choice Accessories to match your wardrobe: Belts, necklaces, sunglasses, caps, stoles, scarves, nail paints. 4-6 pairs of Footwear, stilletoes, pumps in black, gold, silver and skin 8-10 day dresses- Long, mid length, short. Floral, pastels, beachwear and clubwear. Party tops: formal, semi- formal, cocktail nights, club wear Mini stroller for overnight occasions Hair extensions if needed Medications that you’re on The above mentioned articles are to better prepare you for the Pageant.     Ban on Smoking in Public places has led to 10 % fall in premature births and asthma attacks April 1, 2014 Researchers led by Prof. Jasper Been, from University of Edinburgh, have found that the Ban on smoking at public places has actually helped to cut premature births and asthma attacks by 10%. As per a previous study, laws banning smoking in public places viz. bars, restaurants, offices and other work places, have already been proven to protect adults from health threats associated with passive smoking. This was the first comprehensive international to study the effects of the anti-smoking laws in different countries and states and its impact on children of the areas of study. Objective of the Study: The research would help in accelerating the introduction of anti- smoking legislation in nations where it is not introduced yet. As per the Research: Smoke-free laws led to a decline of premature births from the gestational age by 5%. Number of children being admitted to hospital due to severe childhood asthma attacks has also dropped by 10 %. Only 16% of the world’s population is covered by comprehensive smoke-free laws 40% of children worldwide are regularly exposed to second-hand smoke. The audition held at Capitol received an overwhelming response from the city with participation from over 100 young girls competing for the Crown. The audition was judged by eminent personalities from the Glamour Industry and the stiff competition made their job tough. Capitol was seen playing the perfect Venue partner for the auditions. The selected girls from the city will be competing against each other for the title of fbb Femina Miss India Delhi 2016 on February 27 at Leela Ambience, East Delhi. The Delhi finalists will be seen being trained by the industry experts for the next few days to compete for the title at the Delhi Finale. fbb is the Title partner for the pageant and Ruparel Realty is the Powered by partner. The pageant is in association with Talent Partner Mobstar. This year, the fbb femina Miss India 2016 pageant traversed across 18 cities namely Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Indore, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Ahmedabad, Goa, Nagpur, Pune, Guwahati, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal and Chennai, with 3 regional finals in Bangalore, Kolkata & Delhi. This all culminates into the final round of audition in Mumbai. Miss India Organization has not only lived up to its reputation of producing veterans but also has gone on to become a platform for launching young talent into the Indian Glamour Industry. The Grandeur of Miss India Organization is such that one doesn’t necessarily need to be a winner to become famous.
