    AMICUS December 2019 Vol 46 No 4 Journal of the BSHS Past Students’ Association Inc. 2019 AWARDS CEREMONY On Friday 25 October, we had the privilege of acknowledging the outstanding work of our students at our annual Awards Ceremony. I am proud of all of our students. It is great to reflect on the outstanding achievements of these students who meet pre-determined criteria on these occasions. We awarded Academic Awards for consistently strong performance as well as priz- es for the top student in each subject. Cultural and Service Awards were made alongside Sporting Awards. Special Awards were presented for music, special subject prizes, citi- zenship, leadership, sport, best academic achievement and excellent effort and behaviour. We have students engaged in a wide range of endeavours here, so we like to see bal- anced recognition. We celebrated all students who were recognised for their achievements and con- gratulate the following students who were presented with a 2019 Special Award.
