Canton, Ohio 44720 THE STARK COUNTY WRESTLING SCHOLARSHIP FUND PATRONS GUEST SPEAKER Marty Feldpusch Zach Meissner JOSH MALAVE Rick Tschantz Carl Young University of Mount Union Nick Stepanovich Doug Prospers Northwest Takedown Club Billy Natale Josh Malave is in his second season as head wrestling coach at the University of Mount Dave Tate Chris Franks Union. Malave produced a national qualifi er and North Canton Sideliners Greg Ferrara three placers in the NCAA Mideast Regional Ron Tschantz Dan Donnelly while fi nishing fourth in the OAC in his fi rst year as head coach. He also coached the Leonard Bennett Vince Popo OAC Wrestler of the Year and a pair of all- Pat Fladung Randy Young conference selections. Malave was the head coach at Firelands High Jeff Sarbaugh Dick Otani School in Oberlin, Ohio, for two years. In his time at Firelands, he was the Kelly Plottner Canton Wrestling Club 2014-15 Lorain County Coach of the Year and the 2015-16 Patriot Atheltic Conference Coach of the Year leading the Falcons to Patroit Atheltic Pat Shammo Canton South Wrestling Club Conference Individual and Dual Meet titles in 2016 with a total of 13 district qualifi ers. Advanced Industial Roofi ng Inc. Deanne McCaskey He also spent one year as an assistant coach at Union Pines (N.C.) High Tina McCauley Ryan Mayle School where the team won conference individual and dual meet titles while placing fi fth in the state. Mark and Kerri McCauley Dave & Tracy Cline Malave is familiar with the Purple Raider program as he was a two-time Chris and Erica McCauley Joyce Family national qualifi er and 2012 All-American at Mount Union. Malave was a three-time All-OAC selection, two-time conference champion who was also Joe Bardin Tom & Jill Martin a two-time Academic All-OAC and NWCA Scholar All-American selection. A two-time team captain, his 97 wins are still sixth best on the school’s all- Perry Wrestling Boosters Steve Anthony time wins list. Dave Turner Studio Barber Shop He is a native of Rocky River, Ohio, who attended Lutheran West High School.
