He blasted a game-winning triple for Team USA in the gold medal game against Japan in the 2004 FISU II World University Baseball Champion- ship in Taiwan. Drew is currently playing for the Colorado Rockies. Michael Wacha: Michael played his high school career at Pleasant Grove High School in Texarkana, Texas. He then continued his baseball career at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas. The St Louis Cardinals selected Wacha in the first round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft. After playing one year in the minor leagues, he made The Big Show on May 30, 2013. Following a great regular season, Michael earned the 2013 National League Championship Series Most Valuable Player Award, after allowing one run in eight hits in his first 21 postseason innings pitched. Will Middlebrooks, a fifth round draft pick in the 2007 Major League Draft from Liberty Eylau High School. Will bypassed his commitment to Texas A&M University to sign with the Boston Red Sox.
