In 2015, Children’s celebrated the 5th anniversary of the Edward J. Phillips Cardiovascular Care Center, which serves as the largest pediatric heart program in the region. In the last few decades, we’ve performed more than 11,000 heart surgeries, with a 97% survival rate – which is exceptional – for high-risk surgeries. In the next five years, we plan to develop programs that offer the full depth and breadth of cardiac services and continuity of care our children need and deserve, all the way to adulthood.
