"DNA": The Sixth Form Play This year the sixth form chose to perform this modern play by Dennis Kelly which uses comedy to address some tragic themes. From the casting stage to performance, the sixth formers were responsible for the entire production which was put together in their own time. Both audiences were thoroughly entertained and left in no doubt that a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. Also not in question were the admirable leadership qualities and drama skills of those involved who upheld our tradition of the sixth form presenting a challenging play as one of their many extra-curricular activities. We congratulate: Jair Beckles, Hugh Cornish, Gemma Earle, Becca Littlechild, Gaby Marsh, Aila Nakazato, Liz Pascoe, Jo Smith, Ryan Strong, Charlotte Thomas, Katie Thomas, Kate Welby, Freya Wilson and this year's Directors, Zoe Pollard and Isabel Tennant. DRAMA IN THE COMMUNITY We congratulate our year thirteen 'A' level Theatre Studies students who devised their own pieces on the environment to perform by invitation to local first schools. All the schools were impressed with the quality of the pieces and the students' acting abilities as well as their rapport with the young children. Well done to: Jair Beckles, Jessica Cowper, Gemma Earle, Gaby Marsh, Aila Nakazato, Zoe Pollard and Jo Smith.
