Attending board meetings is an easy way to stay informed on the latest news in the association and greater hockey community. RAYHA has done well with fundraising, and leveraged that advantage to maintain and grow enrollment through aggressive advertising, and cost control. We have always strived to provide a quality product at the lowest possible cost. Financial pressures continue to make that challenge increasingly difficult, as we head into the 13-14 season. As a group, we will continue to strive to meet expectations for a quality product. Despite our success we continue to face many challenges. We, along with other associations, have been challenged with changing demographics in our communities that affect youth hockey participation. The growth of club hockey, for-profit leagues, and open enrollment has opened up additional competition for both players and coaches. We are not immune to these pressures. These pressures spotlight how our non-profit community based association relies completely on the dedication, effort, time, talent and most importantly generosity of our Coaches, Managers, Board Members, Volunteers, and general members all of who are unpaid. Together we perform a valuable service for the youth in our community and consequently help to secure our collective future. See you at the rink!
