(1) ‘ETICKETABLE’ ALITALIA FLIGHTS All Alitalia flights (excluding some codeshare flights, see below) will be ‘ETicketable’ by end May 2008. After booking the ‘special service’, as appropriate, and following the procedures currently in place, Travel Agents will only need to issue the Virtual MPD (V-MPD) through the ‘BSPLink’ application, for the correct amount of the applicable charges. Alitalia will verify the amount of the V-MPD and will enter the details in the relevant PNR; a confirmation will be sent back to the Agent through the insertion of ‘SSR’ items in the original PNR, that will generate a GDS queue. More detailed instructions will be published shortly. Travel Agents will then provide the passenger(s) with a printed copy of the V-MPD, on plain paper, directly from BSPLink, to be collected by the Alitalia airport services on departure. AZ ‘own stock’ paper tickets will be issued at the airport of departure against this PTA.

We explore discriminatory product differentiation by international airlines through their depictions of Israel on online route maps and whether their online inflight menus include kosher meal options.

    AIR SEYCHELLES POSTS SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR OF NET PROFITABILITY Key results for 2013* • Second year of net profit, up 171 per cent from US$1.1 million to US$3 million • Total revenue up 107 per cent to US$88.7 million • Passenger numbers total 352,474 • Cargo tonnage up by 159 per cent to 5,529 tonnes • Second Airbus A330-200 wide-body aircraft added to international fleet • Weekly international services increased 100 per cent to 16 per week • Order for three new Viking Air Twin Otter DHC-6 Twin Otter Series 400 aircraft • Codeshare partners increased from one to five • Virtual network expanded to 34 destinations • Four-star Skytrax airline rating Air Seychelles, the national carrier of the Republic of Seychelles, today announced a net profit of US$3 million for 2013, exceeding by 171 per cent its profit of US$1.1 million reported in 2012. Revenue increased by 107 per cent to US$88.7 million (2012: US$42.8 million). The airline’s passenger numbers on its international network increased 100 per cent to 195,857 (2012: 97,576), while traffic on domestic services in 2013 increased nine per cent to 156,617 passengers. Cargo volumes flown in 2013 rose by 159 per cent to 5,529 tonnes (2012: 2,128 tonnes). Joël Morgan, Seychelles Minister for Home Affairs and Transport and Air Seychelles Board Chairman, said the 2013 results were a testament to the on-going success of the airline’s turnaround strategy and business plan. Second: Flight information Flight route: Sana’a to Moroni Fight number: IY626 Number of passengers: 142 passengers, and 11 crew members Approximate flight duration: 4.45 hours - The plane took off from Sana’a Airport at 9:56 p.m. (Sana’a local time). There were absolutely no faults or notifications. It has been inspected by the Civil Aviation Authority in accordance with the customary measures and standards. - After its departure from Sana’a airport heading towards Moroni it went through the airspace of Addis Ababa, Nairobi, Dar-asylum and Madagascar. - Expected arrival time of the flight was 2:00 a.m. according to the flights arrival schedule. - According to the available information, the wind speed was approximately between 20 to 30 knots (50 km per hour approx.) - Furthermore, the air traffic control tower in Sana’a Governorate didn’t receive any report from aviation control units of other governorates, where the plane passed through, or receive any message from the pilot reporting any kind of a problem during the flight.
