This is a unique opportunity to learn about animal welfare activities at Ol Pejeta Conservancy. At the Sweetwaters 2022 DATES Chimpanzee Sanctuary, program participarts learn about 7th-20th February shelter hygiene, basic laboratory procedures, tools and 2nd - 15th May techniques used in the capture of chimps, early morning 7th - 20th November caregiving routines, sanitation and maintenance activities among others. Participants get to work alongside rhino caregivers and learn the management of the northern white rhinos, track- ing techniques, feeding and hygiene protocols. Another exciting aspect of this program includes taking part in beef production processes, vartificial insemination and livestock disease surveillance.
