PSE ARCHERY IS FULLY OPERATIONAL & BACK TO BUILDING THE WORLD'S BEST BOWS!

08/05/2020

Dear PSE Consumers and Dealers,

PSE is happy to announce that as of Friday, May 1st, we are once again able to restart our factory operations in the state of Arizona. Thanks to all of you, the demand for PSE bows has remained high, even during this COVID-19 crisis.

Please know that we are producing bows as quickly as we can, while still maintaining safety guidelines as laid out by the State of Arizona and the CDC. We appreciate your patience as our operation gets back to full speed.

We once again want to assure you that even though we are ramping up production, PSE is taking all necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of our employees. We've implemented social distancing throughout our company, with non-essential and at-risk employees working remotely. For production employees, we are requiring masks, and have set up additional break rooms. We've also spread out our larger departments, and added sanitising stations throughout the building. Every department is also cleaned and decontaminated throughout the day.

Thank you all for your continued support. Without you, there would be no PSE. We are all in this together.

Sincerely, Lonnie Workman VP of Sales, PSE Archery. 05 06 WORLD ARCHERY

11 PSE NATION DAVID ROWSON

David shoots a PSE PerformX with B-Stinger stabilisers, B&D sight with Shrewd Mini Max Scope, Gold Tip Arrows, Feathervision IR Perfectium +63 Diopter and uses Vortex Viper 10 x 42 Binoculars. “I have found the PerformX to offer a very stable shooting platform, smooth to draw, with a nice wall”.

I started archery way back in the 80’s when I found my local club in Concord, NSW (Greenlees Archery Club) where I met Ross Herron (a Master Bowman), “ I quickly realised that compound archery was what I wanted to do”. I enjoy most disciplines such as Target, Field (WA & IFAA), Marked 3D and Indoor.

I am a member of NFAA, AA, ABA. I have until recently been the President of Burilda Archery Club and now have joined Penrith City Archers. During my career I have also undertaken some administrative roles as ASNSW Tournament Co-ordinator, FITA (WA) Oceania Treasurer, National Team Assistant Manager, and Cub Secretary.

My favourite colour is Blue.

I have been lucky to make the podium over many years providing great experiences, meeting many well-known archers across the world and competing at the Huntsman World Senior Games in St George Utah.

I practice at my local club Penrith City Archers (Western )

I have spent time at the PSE Factory in Tucson with Frank & Becky Pearson, met Pete Shepley and was shown through the production process.

My goals these days are focusing on continuing to enjoy the moment of releasing an arrow towards its target.

I would like to see more bows designed that are especially appealing for ladies with short draw lengths and lower bow weights.

12 PSE NATION FENNY THOMPSON

Fenny shoots a LH Rose Gold PSE Shootdown, Axcel Accu View AV 31 plus Scope + Axcel Carbon Bar. Hamskea -peep, Pro blade arrow rest Bee stinger premier plus front & side bar stabilisers , Gold Tip Pierce 500 arrows.

I like the look of the bow and the grip feels great in my hand.

My first introduction to archery was when taking my son Jock to the club. The coach talked me into it to give it a go and never looked back , feel in love with the sport, this was 23 years ago.

I am a member of 3 clubs Lake Glenbawn - 3DAAA. When I relished their was more than shooting 3D. I joined Australian Bowhunters Association and Hunter Bowman Field Archery Club. Last year I had a go at indoor Target shooting and joined the Cessnock Target Archers. I enjoy all the different disciplines off Archery, but IFAA field archery tournaments are still my favourite .

Blue is my favourite colour, most of my clothes are blue and also my bows except my last one( didn’t have blue).

My greatest archery highlight was the World Field Championships in Windhoek, Namibia in Africa. A great experience. I made so many new friends from all over the world and still friends with them on FB. Also I came home with a gold medal

I practice in my back yard and try to shoot everyday at least 30 arrows, also at Camp Curra Keith. Home of the Lake Glenbawn Field Archery Club.

If I had the chance to visit the PSE factory, I’d like to see how they make bows and would love to meet some Pro Shooters and maybe Have a shot at the Indoor or outdoor range, and top it of with some lunch at the X10 cafe.

I Enjoy the moment, do my best and try to improve each time I am shooting in competitions. Listen and learn from others but also give my knowledge and skills back to our new club members especial the kids.

I would like to see more bows in draw length 25-26 and weight 40 - 50. ATA 36 / 37. Great for the ladies and young adults. 13 PSE NATION MICHAEL CULLEN

23 ARCHERY AUSTRALIA GUIDELINES FOR REBOOTING ARCHERY INTO THE COMMUNITY

Archery Australia remains committed to complying with advice provided by the Federal Government for all archery activities under its control. While we look to relaunch Archery within the community, in a pandemic, small numbers become big numbers very quickly and we cannot afford for any sporting organisation or club to be the source of a community outbreak/second wave. The safety and well-being of our participants and community is our priority.

Guidelines for Level A (Sport Australia Framework for Rebooting Sport).

•The responsibility lies with individual Archery Club and members to ensure that they are fully aware of and compliant with their own State Government legislation, Federal Government Legislation and any RGB advice, •Only outdoor club activity can operate, no indoor archery activities are currently permitted. •Hand sanitiser should be made available at each club. •Archers should practice safe hygiene at all times, including washing hands for at least 20 seconds before and after any archery activity. •State legislation on the maximum persons allowed at the archery club at any one time must be followed at all times. Booking systems may need to be in place for this to happen to restrict social gatherings. •Archery equipment cannot be shared between archers. •One Archer Per Lane – unless a family are shooting who live at the same address. •It is recommended that only every second lane is opened/in use to help maintain social distances of 1.5m. •No field archery is currently permitted unless in groups of one archer per target. •No archery tournaments, QRE’s or planned events are currently permitted (excluding online shooting competitions).

Guidelines for Level B (Sport Australia Framework for Rebooting Sport):

•The responsibility lies with individual Archery Club and members to ensure that they are fully aware of and compliant with their own State Government legislation, Federal Government Legislation and any RGB advice, •Outdoor and Indoor club activity can operate •Hand sanitiser should be made available at each club. •Archers should practice safe hygiene at all times, including washing hands for at least 20 seconds before and after any archery activity. 24 ARCHERY AUSTRALIA

Guidelines for Rebooting Archery into the Community – Summary (PDF) THREE MONTH MEMBERSHIP EXTENSION

Three-Month Membership Extension Archery Australia has been working with all RGB’s and the Clubs across Australia to try and support all members by issuing a three-month extension to your membership during these uncertain times. As a member automatically joins a club, an RGB and Archery Australia at the same time, in order for this to happen all three organisations (AA, RGB and Club) are required to agree to an extension. So far all RGB’s have agreed to the three-month extension and over 70 Clubs have agreed, therefore meaning that over 5,000 members will receive this extension this week and we’re hopeful the remaining Clubs will want to be involved over the next week or two.

A huge thank you to all the clubs and the RGB’s for your assistance with this process, it’s incredibly appreciated! Although the RGB’s and Archery Australia are actively encouraging all clubs to accept a three-month extension, if a club chooses not to go down this route then we will be unable to provide the members of that club with a three-month membership extension. Three-month Extension: All members that were financial as of the 1st April 2020, will receive a three-month extension to their membership. Eg. If your current membership expiry date is the 30/06/20, it would now become 30/09/20 This will be constantly reviewed in consultation with the RGB’s and the Clubs. Further information can be found here Once Archery Operations resume, a new membership card will be issued with your updated Expiry Date A list of Clubs that have so far signed up can be found here (updated 14.04.20) Any queries please don’t hesitate to contact us ([email protected])
