Adrien is turning the page and we are really sad to see him go, but, at the same time, so happy that he is off to live an adventure.

1. Adrien, tell us about your project. Afer fve years at the Dauphine-Saint-Germain, and meeting so many of our guests that have come from all over the world, it is now my turn to travel! I am planning to be on the road for at least 6 months and discover South America. My frst stop will be Nicaragua, then Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. I will soon turn 30 and I have always lived in Paris. Everything moves so fast nowadays. I want to really take my time discovering other landscapes, other cultures, and meeting people… When I come back, I hope my mind will be at rest and full of memories, so I am ready to begin another chapter of my life! 2. What is your best memory of the years you spent at the Dauphine-Saint-Germain ? How could I only keep one memory afer such eventful fve years? It’s impossible. What I like most about my job, and what I really enjoyed at the Dauphine-Saint-Germain, was meeting people, talking with all our guests, and the satisfaction of doing my job well. I believe I really matured afer all those years working within a cohesive team. We all shared the same objective: do our utmost so that our guests could have an unforgettable stay in Paris. Recently I was really moved when the team organized a farewell surprise party. It was such an incredible surprise that tears came to my eyes! I take this opportunity to extend my warmest greetings to all my colleagues at the Dauphine- Saint-Germain and the Jeanne d’Arc.

3. When you think of the aventure that you are going to live, what are your feelings? Are you impatient to go? Are you maybe a little scared? Listen, I am going through all kinds of emotions at the moment. It is very difcult to keep a cool head. I have many things to do before I go, seeing my family and friends, getting the equipment ready, taking care of red tape, etc. Paradoxically starting on an adventure requires a lot of preparation!!! I am really looking forward to being on my way! Tat is how the “Beaujolais Nouveau” was born. Since 1985, the new wine can be tasted starting at midnight on the 3rd Tursday in November.

Janelle McCulloch was a guest at the Dauphine-Sain-Germain in 2015. She wrote a book about staying in Paris in style. This is what she said about the hotel:

Hotel Dauphine-Saint-Germain: “A good fnd, as much for its superb location between the Seine and the bustling atmospheric Rue de Buci street markets as for its interiors (many rooms are dressed in pretty toiles). [...] It’s the location you want: just a stroll to some of the best shops and sights in Paris.”
