2255//0077//22020121 The ASICS London 10K will be returning to the heart of London on Sunday 25th July! Due to the use of Westminster roads for the race, there will be some changes to usual traffic routes on Sunday 25th July. Please be assured that throughout planning every effort is being made to minimise any disruption caused. The routes have been carefully considered and we are working closely with Westminster City Council, TfL and all emergency services. ROADS TO BE CLOSED OR PARTIALLY CLOSED ON SUNDAY 25 JULY: Broad sanctuary Parliament street** Victoria embankment Carlton house terrace Piccadilly* Victoria street Charing cross road Regent street* Waterloo place*** Cockspur street Regent street st james Westminster bridge road Duncannon street Savoy street Whitehall** Haymarket Shaftesbury avenue Whitehall court Horse guards avenue St james’s street Whitehall place* reopens by Lower regent street St margaret street 14:00 Northumberland avenue Strand ** Reopens by 16:00 Pall mall Temple place *** Closed saturday 24th 08:00 Parliament square Trafalgar square until sunday 25th 19:30 Our closures start at 04:30 on Piccadilly and Whitehall, with Horse Guards Avenue closing at 05:00, and all other roads closing at 06:00. We will be operating a dynamic reopening schedule to ensure that roads are reopened as soon as possible and when it is safe and feasible to do so. All roads will fully reopen by 15:30, unless stated above. Please note roads neighbouring the route may also be affected. Advanced warning signs will be installed two weeks prior to the event to provide closure information. We are grateful for the support of the local community and hope this advance notice helps with planning around the closures. We appreciate your understanding for any inconvenience that may be caused. Furthermore, we’d like to reassure all that we are working to ensure a safe event is delivered, right through from planning to delivery, ensuring government and public health guidelines are followed.
