No.CEE/5454/2018/KEAM-2019/TA1 Government of Kerala Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram - 695 001 NOTIFICATION KEAM-2019 CENTRALISED ALLOTMENT PROCESS FOR PROFESSIONAL DEGREE COURSES ONLINE OPTIONS INVITED The activities related to the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) to Professional Degree Courses for the year 2019-20 will commence on 13.06.2019 (Thursday). In this phase, online options are invited for Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy courses. Candidates included in the rank lists prepared and published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations for Engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy courses – 2019 can register their options through the Website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 13.06.2019 to 19.06.2019, 10 am. Candidates who do not register their options within the stipulated time will not be considered for allotment under any circumstances. The schedule for the first phase of allotment is given below: 13.06.2019 Opening of the website facility for online option registration 17.06.2019 Trial Allotment 19.06.2019, 10 am Closure of online option registration facility 20.06.2019, 8 pm First Phase Allotment Publication Candidates who get allotment shall have to remit the fee shown in the allotment memo at any of the Head/Post Offices in Kerala or by way of online payment. 21.06.2019 to 26.06.2019, 3 pm Those candidates who do not remit the fee on or before the date prescribed for the same will lose their allotment as well as all the existing options in the stream to which the allotment belongs. The options once lost will not be available in the subsequent phases. The schedule for further allotments will be notified in due course. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will be making allotments in the First Phase to the various Professional Degree courses such as Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy courses in the following Colleges: Sl.No. Colleges Annexure 1. Government Pharmacy Colleges IX Mandatory Reservation : Leaving the seats set apart for All India Quota, Government of India Nominees, Special reservation, Persons with Disabilities and Management Quota, the remaining Government seats for each course in Govt./Aided/Kerala Agricultural University/Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University/Kerala University of Fisheries & Ocean Studies Colleges will be distributed as per the mandatory reservation principle as contemplated in G.O.(P)208/66/Edn. Dated 2.5.1966, G.O.(Ms) No. 95/08/SCSTDD Dated 06.10.2008, G.O.(Ms) No. 10/2014/BCDD Dated 23.05.2014 and as modified from time to time. 1 The percentage break-up of seats as per mandatory reservation is as follows: (A) State Merit (SM) - 60% (B) Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) - 30% a. Ezhava (EZ) - 9% b. Muslim (MU) - 8% c. Other Backward Hindu (BH) - 3% d. Latin Catholic and Anglo Indian (LA) - 3% e. Dheevara and related communities (DV) - 2% f. Viswakarma and related communities (VK) - 2% g. Kusavan and related communities (KN) - 1% h. Other Backward Christian (BX) - 1% i. Kudumbi (KU) - 1% (C) Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes - 10% a. Scheduled Castes (SC) - 8% b. Scheduled Tribes (ST) - 2% Note: (1) In the case of Self-financing Engineering Colleges under Government control, 45% of the seats under Management quota will be allotted by the CEE in addition to the 50% Govt. seats. (2) In the case of Self-financing Engineering Colleges under CAPE, 35% of the seats under Management quota will be allotted by the CEE in addition to the 60% Govt. seats. (3) In the case of Self-financing Engineering College under Centre for Professional and Advanced Studies (University College of Engineering, Muttom, Thodupuzha), 95% of the seats are available for allotment by the CEE as Government seats. (4) In the case of Self-financing Engineering College under Calicut University (Calicut University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Tenhipalam, Malappuram), 100% seats are available for allotment by the CEE as Government seats. (5) The CEE will allot only 35% of the seats under Management quota in addition to the 50% Govt. seats, in the case of Sree Chithira Thirunal College of Engineering, Pappanamcode, Thiruvananthapuram. (6) Candidates who seek admission under community/Registered Society/ Registered Trust Quota seat shall have to submit their option on these colleges later. The balance fee has to be remitted in the colleges concerned at the time of admission. Government Pharmacy Colleges Rs.15,000/- p.a. ** This fee concession benefit will be available to the candidates only after completion of allotment process. Hence candidates should remit the full fee prior to taking admission. Balance fee will be refunded to the candidates eligible for fee concession. AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme: For Engineering courses, the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme will be implemented as per the norms fixed by the AICTE. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has sanctioned 5% of the total intake as supernumerary seats for admission under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme and the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations shall identify the students to such seats based on eligibility, after the closing of admissions. Token Deposit : Candidates allotted under SC/ST/OEC category and those having benefits as per G.O. (MS) 25/2005/SCSTDD, dated: 20.06.2005 and G.O. (MS) 10/2014/BCDD, dated: 23.05.2014, has no token deposit. The candidates getting allotment are liable to remit the fee fixed by the Fee Regulatory Committee if the fee fixed on the basis of agreement between Government and Self-financing Managements is not approved by the Hon’ble Court or any competent authority. The allotment to Colleges / Courses will be subject to recognition of All India Regulatory Bodies, Affiliation from the Universities and Government Orders.
