One was the vivid picture I purposely kept in my head of everyone who would read this book and apply these principles for extraordinary results. Another was my clear intention to promote this set of universal principles as a new business model by attracting like-minded clients for consulting and coaching services, audiences for my speeches, workshops and business classes, and partners for other books and projects. As I finished writing this book, I discovered another reason. It was a rare opportunity to openly express in one place sin- cere appreciation to those who have had such a profound influence on my life. Their belief in me and my message has made all the difference. To my parents, Lorraine and James Molloy, for always encouraging me as a writer and seeing “our daughter, the author” way before it was official. Special thanks to my sister, Susan Molloy Familia, for her love and support. To my seventh-grade English teacher, Ms. Coughlin, for persuading me to submit a few of my poems to our school paper when I was 12 years old. She gifted me with the joy of seeing my words publicly in print for the first time. That’s when I knew I would be a writer. I called her 33 years later to tell her so. Copyrighted Material x To my Divine Wisdom at Work™ “Dream Team.” Jeanne Shar- buno, my personal business coach for many years, led me through the sometimes arduous and often exhilarating writ- ing process and then skillfully edited my manuscript as if it was her own. Scott Barnes, my computer consultant for many years, stepped up to build my website—fully anticipating the many ways it would inspire and support others on their Divine Wisdom journey. Garon Hart, my graphic designer, patiently worked with this first-time author to translate my vision of the book and make it real, inside and out. Thank you to my dear friends and colleagues for their enthusiastic encouragement and thoughtful advice along the way, including Alison Ilg, Elizabeth Fairleigh, JoAnne Donner, Margo Geller, Loretta Vitale, Elizabeth Pagano, Phyllis Car- rera, Greg Vetter, Kathy Bakon, Jayne Capetanakis, Tom Elli- cott, Kim Arasin, Donna Huling, Stacey Mayo, Julie Squires, Laurie Farmer, Mandy Roth, Margaret Jones, Carol A. Hacker, Ken Futch and Connie R. Siewert. With appreciation to fellow members of Toast of Cobb, a local chapter of Toastmasters International, for holding the vision of me as a dynamic, entertaining and inspiring speaker. To my clients who inspired me over the years with their deep integrity and strong entrepreneurial spirit, including Don Whitney, Dan Smigrod, Eric Lindberg, Ken Menendez, Susan Pilgrim, David Geller, Millann Funk, Pat Adams, Mike Wittenstein and Mike Arasin. Copyrighted Material xi To the inspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders I serendipitously met through the writing of this book who welcomed the opportunity to promote these principles that serve them so well in their own work. They include Jim Hul- ing, Cindy LaFerle, Brian Johnson and Karen Drucker. To my beloved minister for many years, Carole O’Connell, for reminding me of my innate wisdom through her Sunday messages and the way she lives her life. To my new ministers, Nancy and Bill Worth, for continuing to lovingly promote the powerful, positive, practical messages of Unity. To our family beach house, which is both a tangible reminder of manifesting prosperity and a haven where most of the writing of this book flowed. Most importantly, I thank my family.
