1948 June 23 LETTER: Gwilym T. Jones, County Offices, Caernarfon, Clerk of the County Council, to W. Roberts, Esq., Deputy Clerk of Lleyn Rural District Council enclosing extract from a report of the Meeting of the Proposals Sub-Committee held on the 9th June, containing the conditions on which the Ambulance Service is to be run.

1948 July 2 COPY LETTER: R.J. Jones, Acer Las, Ala Road, Pwllheli, Hon. Secretary of The Morgan Ambulance Committee, to W. Wilson Williams, Esq., Manager of the Midland Bank Ltd., Pwllheli asking him to act as Treasurer of the Committee as set out in the minutes of the final meeting of the Pwllheli and Lleyn Ambulance Committee a copy of which was sent with the letter.

1948 July 2 COPY LETTER: R.J. Jones, Acer Las, Ala Road, Pwllheli, Hon. Secretary of The Morgan Ambulance Committee, enclosing copy of the minutes of the final meeting of the Pwllheli and Lleyn Ambulance Committee and also the first meeting of the Morgan Ambulance Committee. The Committee had resolved to become a voluntary organisation under the County Scheme. "It was also resolved to ask the County Council to consider the advisability of providing a car for the transportation of patients who are "sitting cases" as this would effect a considerable saving in running cost".

Bowman, Brooklea, Brookfield Terrace, Pwllheli, conveying the committee's warm appreciation of the assistance she has given at al l times in the maintenance of the Ambulance Scheme. As the County Council will now be responsible for mobilising,her telephone will be discon­ nected.

Jones, Esq., Caerau, Ala Road, Caernarvon, enclosing receipt for cheque value £8.0s.0d. received from Miss S.A. Evans in settlement of account for insurance of Morris Ambulance G.G.T.665. 1949 April 25 LETTER: E.E. Wigley, County Treasurer, Caernarvonshire County Council, to Councillor R.J. Jones, "Acer Las", Ala Road, Pwllheli, enclosing cppies of letters received from Messrs. Vincent Greenhous (Wrexham) Ltd., together with an invoice for £1,124 and covenant, which requires his signature. He assumes Councillor Jones will make the necessary arrangements to collect, after the insurance cover and other necessary preliminaries have been effected.
