Committee Co-Chair Open Seats
Big thanks to Mary and Diana for taking on the role of chair and co-chairs. We have three candidates for open co-chair positions. Also need a co-chair of the youth task force. Dave- we should have more than one additional at-large chair. Dave thinks we should have a working group to determine the other ppl who should fill at-large seats
Nominees: At-Large-- Adele McClure Integrated Services- Latasha Younger (Assistant Dir of PSH at New Hope Housing) D&E- Stephanie Carl, Leonard Chari

Each candidate highlighted their strengths, and provided basis as to why they would be an asset to the committee Voting: One person from each committee. Kathy or Larry, Mary, Cindy, Gwen or Kim, Melissa, Dave, Diana
Caroline: We should consider having three co-chairs for D&E. Melissa: We can make that decision. Dave: If we increase number of co-chairs, that would put more weight on the providers. Our goal is to have more input from the community. Melissa: One would not have to be a co-chair to influence what happens in the committee. Melissa: We do not have enough information to determine if that as the right decision but does not think that any committee should be expanding co-chairs. Cindy: We may want to consider spinning off some of the functions--first look at the work and then determine how that can be staffed.
Larry makes a motion that we close the discussion, Mary seconds. Unanimous consent to close debate: Unanimous consent to close discussion.
Diana said the vacancy for Integrated Services has been open for some time. The committee would benefit more from someone that has been part of the committee and the CoC for some time. A lot of onboarding would be necessary. Tony says position has been open for some time and the committee has expressed desire to fill the vacancy. DHS does not operate on committees in co-chair role, but as a liaison. Melissa says a vote of No for Latasha, would also mean Deferred. Ballots marked and passed to Tony o 5/9 Latasha- majority approved o 5/9 Leonard- majority approved o Adele- unanimously approved (9/9) New members welcomed to ExComm
