The Totals 127-185-3 33-71 Raiders finished third in the Midwestern Collegiate Conference in 1998, the All-Conference Selections highest ever by a Wright State softball team, and in 1997, Wright State First Team compiled a winning season for the first time since 1985. Pluger was part of the Toledo coaching staff for two seasons, serving as an All-Great Lakes Region assistant in 1998 after being a graduate assistant in 1997.
