PROVO, Utah—Utah recorded its most lopsided win in 89 years against rival BYU, thrashing the Cougars 54-10 in Provo on Sept. 17. The Utes, who reeled off 47 unanswered points after trailing 10-7 late in the second quarter, forced seven Cougar turnovers, two they converted for touchdowns. John White rushed for 174 yards (165 in the second half) and three touchdowns, while Dres Anderson had 81 receiving yards and a score. Jordan Wynn passed for 239 yards and two touchdowns, including the go-ahead strike to Jake Murphy that gave Utah a 14-10 lead going into the half.
