The 1961 Block Riesling is a new wine made from old vines, to commemorate the 170th anniversary of the vineyard. The 1961 Block is the dress circle of Pewsey Vale, situated in the center of the vineyard amphitheatre, facing due north and embracing the sun. Fresh and evocative, with flavors of lemon myrtle and tea tree blossom, and seamless minerality. The Contours Riesling is produced from old vines farmed on the coolest slope within this ruggedly beautiful single vineyard.
