WOMEN'S SUMMER RETREAT: "IT’S TIME TO BE LOOKING UP AND SPIRIT-LED” Dates/Times: Wednesday, June 23, 5:30 p.m. (Dinner) to Sunday, June 27, Noon Fee: $385 includes retreat, optional spiritual direction, meals, and room Commuter: $220 includes opening dinner, retreat, lunch, optional spiritual direction, closing brunch. Check-In begins at 3 p.m. Single Day: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (June 24, 25, 26), 9:30 - 5:00 group sessions (9:30-Noon and 4-5 p.m.) with afternoon free. $65 per day

When we say “things are looking up” we tend to lighten up and feel more positive and hopeful. Let’s allow our thoughts to take flight as we tap into the goodness of the present moment in this season of summer. We’ll consider how the gifts of the Spirit blossom forth in such fruits as peace, joy kindness and goodness. Morning presentations will invite you to look up with eyes open to imagine new ways of being, that engage body, mind, and spirit. The afternoons will offer personal time to let your own creative spirit lead the way. Take time to relax, play, pray, enjoy poetry, music, imagery and Scripture and share with others in a reflective, supportive, environment. Thursday, June 24: “What Time is it for you?" Friday, June 25: "Time to BE" Saturday, June 26: “Looking Up and Being Spirit-Led”. Facilitators: Jacque Schroeder, OSF, a West Peoria Franciscan, retreat leader, currently pastoral associate at Standing Rock Indian Reservation, South Dakota and Janice Keenan, OSF HELP NEEDED Given the updated guidelines from the CDC and the Archdiocese, St Irenaeus would like to increase parishioner numbers at Mass. In order to do this, we need more volunteers to be on the Reopen Team. Training is provided. Duties include cleaning pews and church after Mass, checking in pre-registered attendees and disbursing hand sanitizer.
