  • The Following Players Comprise the 1975 Season APBA Pro Football Player Card Set
1975 APBA PRO FOOTBALL SET ROSTER The following players comprise the 1975 season APBA Pro Football Player Card Set. The regular starters at each position are listed first and should be used most frequently. Realistic use of the players below will generate statistical results remarkably similar to those from real life. IMPORTANT: When a Red "K" appears in the R-column as the result on any kind of running play from scrimmage or on any return, roll the dice again, refer to the K-column, and use the number there for the result. When a player has a "K" in his R-column, he can never be used for kicking or punting. If the symbol "F-K" or "F-P" appears on a players card, it means that you use the K or P column when he recovers a fumble. Argiz 2010-11 Orange Bowl Committee President & Chair of the Board Spring is a time to reflect, re-energize and re-strategize, and the Orange Bowl Committee is doing all of that and more to prepare for the upcoming 2010-11 Orange Bowl Festival. Let us take a moment to reflect on yet another successful Orange Bowl Festival. Under the leadership of immediate past president Phillis Oeters and CEO Eric Poms, the Committee hosted two successful athletic programs from the University of Iowa and Georgia Tech, along with the tens of thousands of their fans who flocked to South Florida. I would like to congratulate and thank our partners, volunteers, committee members and staff, who worked hard to maintain the Orange Bowl Festival among the preeminent events in South Florida and nationwide. By bringing events that create significant economic impact and visibility to South Florida, the Committee defines what civic organizations should do for a community. Not only do we host two of the top rated football teams in the country at the FedEx Orange Bowl, but we also produce the successful MetroPCS Orange Bowl Basketball Classic at the BankAtlantic Center. In addition, we have the Seminole Hard Rock Orange Bowl Halftime Show that continues to carry on the Orange Bowl tradition of providing world-class entertainment. Furthermore, both the AvMed Orange Bowl Coaches Luncheon and the Baptist Health Orange Bowl Prayer Breakfast in support of the FCA sold out filling Miami’s Jungle Island. But none of this would matter if we didn’t make a difference in the lives of tomorrow’s leaders.

Defensive ends BRYCE FISHER of the NFC champion Seattle Seahawks and PATRICK KERNEY of the Atlanta Falcons, and tackle MAX STARKS of the Super Bowl XL champion Pittsburgh Steelers will meet and greet service members at various locations in the region. Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) is providing logistical support for the trip. In 1966, the NFL became the first sports organization to send players to Vietnam and other parts of the Far East on “goodwill tours” to visit U.S. troops. The first group of players to embark on a USO tour overseas included four future Hall of Famers: WILLIE DAVIS, FRANK GIFFORD, SAM HUFF and JOHNNY UNITAS. In 2004, the NFL donated $250,000 to the USO for the construction of the Pat Tillman USO Center in Afghanistan, located at Bagram Air Base near Kabul. LARRY IZZO of the New England Patriots and WARRICK DUNN of the Falcons attended the opening of the center last April in Afghanistan. A former Arizona Cardinals safety, Tillman was killed during Army Ranger combat operations in Afghanistan in 2004.

That’s how he refers to the doctors and researchers at Moffitt. “My team,’’ Griese calls them in the way football fans once did about his Miami Dolphins of the 1970s, the way he did as a youth about the New York Yankees, the way every sports fan does from his or her first cheer. Everyone has a team. This is Griese’s team now. As chairman of Moffitt’s national Board of Advisors, he makes an annual tour to see the clinical trials, talk with the involved doctors and translate the year’s progress against cancer in a manner he understands: as that of a football quarterback moving the ball downfield against the toughest opponent of them all. “For a long time, we were backed against our goal line against FAMILY TRADITION cancer,’’ he said. “Then we started to move the ball down the field some, slowly but surely.N ow you can see it, the progress At the time his NFL career bloomed in Denver, Brian this team has made. You can feel the momentum from the Griese showed all of a pro athlete’s possibilities. And work they’re doing. The end zone’s getting closer.” responsibilities.
