Line closure Moorgate to Hampstead/High Barnet/Mill Hill East This is while we carry out track replacement work at Totteridge & Whetstone, station improvement work at Woodside Park and maintain points at Camden Town. Bus replacement for local journeys: Morden Road – Belgrave Walk (stop in Morden Road) – Mitcham – Mitcham Junction – Beddington Lane – Therapia Lane – Ampere Way We regret it is not possible for these buses to serve Phipps Bridge tram stop, which is served by bus 200 between Wimbledon and Mitcham. Trams from Wimbledon will terminate at Morden Road. Trams from New Addington will terminate at Therapia Lane. Line 4 will not operate on Saturday 13 September. Lines 1 and 2 will operate their normal routes. London Overground Weekend Line closure New Cross Gate to Crystal Palace/West Croydon 13/14 September This is due to Thameslink work. Bus replacement for local journeys: New Cross Gate – Brockley – Honor Oak Park – Forest Hill – Sydenham – Crystal Palace – Anerley (also for Penge West) – Norwood Junction – Selhurst – West Croydon Sunday Line closure Camden Road to Willesden Junction via West Hampstead 14 September This is to prepare the network for 5-car trains. Bus replacement for local journeys: Camden Road – Kentish Town West (bus stops in Prince of Wales Road) – Gospel Oak (bus stops in Agincourt Road/Southampton Road) – Hampstead Heath – Finchley Road (for Finchley Road & Frognal) – West Hampstead – Brondesbury – Brondesbury Park – Kensal Rise – Willesden Junction Allow extra time to complete your journey. You must have a valid ticket before using replacement bus services. All information is correct at time of email being issued (Thursday). There were 31 million journeys on Trams in 2013/14. This is expected to continue to grow rapidly with development in Croydon, towards nearly 60 million passengers by 2031. The Croydon Opportunity Area now includes Westfield-Hammerson shopping centre development, due to open in 2018 - creating 5,000 jobs in 1.5 million square feet of retail space – and proposals for 7,300 new homes in the town centre.
