SECOND DAY — Arrive Mont Joh. You are met by the Gaspe Tours Line representative who escorts you to the Commercial Hotel for breakfast. Then your tour of the Gaspe Peninsula begins. Your modern automobile travels along the shore of the St. Lawrence River most of the first day, passing the city of Matane. The picturesque countryside is dotted with quaint French villages whose air of tranquil old world charm lifts this tour above the common place. At Cap-Chat, a stop for luncheon. Then the drive continues with the broad expanse of the St. Lawrence stretching to the north.
